I love this place. People are super nice. I'm here in August and the rate is 300 per night. There's free drinking water and free flow of coffee and hot water for your convenience. There's cricket sound day and night and it's just the perfect kind of sound for me. I love the semi-alfresco shower and overall jungle feel where... More

It is impossible to get the small huts more simple and the mattress worse than at Namtok. Which would be great if you pay 250 Baht. But in my opinion with 550 Baht per night this place is completly overpriced.

They were pretty nice, and very relaxed. We stayed in a cheep room for 550 B For anywhere else in the country, such a shoddy room would be out of the question for that price. The building is essentially a reed hut. The first one were in didnt even have a lock on the door. The second one only had... More

When we first arrived we had planned for the 3 of us to have one "deluxe" bungalow and one cheaper bungalow. When we arrived, Danny said that he gave the cheaper bungalow that we reserved to someone else. It worked out in the end (it was my boyfriend, me, and our friend), because we were all traveling together, but it... More

My boyfriend and I stayed here for 3 nights in the cheapest bungalow available - 550 baht. We didn't book but Danny (owner) didn't mind, and showed us a bungalow straight away. Everyone is so laid back, when I asked about paying he said we can just sort it out when we leave. The bungalow: It is not sealed from... More

The wooden expensive bungalow was good with a fridge and hot water. and you can use the kitchen to cook. The cheap bungalow was bit questionable. we are sure there is stuff sleep under our bed or live in our matrace and make a house down there. The local restaurant is excellent for food. They mix 150 bat pot of... More

I stayed at Namtok bungalows for 2nights and had a great stay! I opted for the deluxe bungalow and it was a great size with a large private bathroom. Very clean! The owner Dinny was great! I was staying on my own and as I hadn't used a motorbike before he showed me around the island and introduced me to... More

A testing couple of days in Namtok Bungalows. The basic room is 500bht a night and to quote another reviewer, it really is a "glorified shed". It has large gaps between the roof and the walls so bugs, lizards etc really have free rein. To top this off the mosquito net that's supplied was covered in holes and discoloured. The... More

Relaxed atmosphere, read and chill in the hammocks, share the kitchen, good space to meet other travellers, great family meals, basic bamboo bungalows are fine with natural air conditioning ;) and the wooden bungalows look good. Near the pier, beach, local shops and great restaurants. You won't want to leave! Stayed 6 weeks ago and It's still my favourite island.... More

I thoroughly enjoyed my stay at Namtok mainly because of the friendliness of the owners and the family atmosphere of the place - it really felt like a 'home away from home'! Denny is the most welcoming, laid-back person ever and the hammock chill-out veranda was a real meeting point for locals and other travellers alike. I stayed in a... More
