This is a great place to stay. Just a few rooms so best to reserve. The owner is an artist so there is a gallery of his work and a few others. the sculptures that are in the water are a sight to see. Some are submerged as the tide comes in and a few float on a raft. The... More

My flight from Mont Joli airport was cancelled due to heavy fog, and I had to spend the night in the area. WIth many of the hotels filled up, I ended up here at Centre d'Art Marcel Gagnon. And what a wonderful surprise it was. This is a quaint hotel that sits right on the shores of the St. Lawrence... More

We happened upon this hotel on a cold rainy September night on the way to Quebec City and were thankful they took us in. It's an unusual place and the rooms are dated, but the price was right. The food was ok but the most intriguing thing was a series of 80 eerie life-size concrete figures in a row leading... More

Last week while traveling from one place to another we stayed one night here. Reception was very nice, room also nice with nice view of St-Lawrence river and the unusual art forms of Marcel Gagnon. I recemmend this establishment as a very nice place to stay and relax. You can also visit their on-site art gallery (charming). Although they have... More

Very entertaining art gallery and unique sculptures. Breakfast was very good and staff was pleasant. Probably the nicest lodging offered in the area. The entire Gagnon family has art displayed on site all different from each other.

We stayed here twice during our Gaspe trip, and really enjoyed it. The rooms are very comfortable and and feel like you're staying in a home, rather than a hotel. They are very clean. The staff are friendly and helpful. And the location can't be beat, right on the beach. It should be mentioned that the restaurant is fantastic! We... More

A nice hotel with a great view of the ocean. The owners, also artists, placed several concrete statues leading from the hotel itself down to the water. At low tide all the statues are fully exposed, while at high tide you can see just the heads on some, other are fully submerged. It lends to an eerie feeling. Very interesting... More
