We had an absolute blast at St.Thomas Hotel. My buddy and I went during the low time. Tina and the staff took wonderful care of us and the food was awesome. Lucky was a blast also. Can't wait to return soon. I would definitely recommend walking out to the islands, visiting the Gede Ruins, and snorkeling at the corral reef.... More

At the junction in Watamu to the left and after 10 minutes you will find Mawe Resort. Everything was good! Just taste the wine and order for a lunch. What a clean resort in the wind of the Indian Ocean. Thanks to Tina Elizabeth and Cynthia. They are so motivated!

We loved every minute of our time at Mawe. We were there for our honeymoon and from the minute we arrived until we left, we were taken care of like family. The entire staff was friendly and accommodating, and we left there feeling like we had really experienced something special. A big thank you to Joan, Tina, Angellah, Edwin, Charo,... More

We enjoyed relaxing at this beautiful hotel. It's a little difficult to access the hotel without a car, but we managed it with a moto taxi. The service was superb -- we arrived in midafternoon from Mombasa and the staff fixed us up a special light lunch, which was just what we needed. The food is almost all Italian, so... More

We loved this hotel. We stayed for a couple of nights in January and were the only people there. We are independent travellers with a car and the hotel is not well signposted from the road. Also the only parking was outside the hotel gate. Not a real problem as the hotel appears to be in a secure compound. The... More

The view of the ocean at the hotel was great. The welcome was warm and I was really stoked to see the flowers decorated on my bed when I first arrived. The Wifi was off and on; when I asked at the reception I was told the wifi was connected to the air conditioning in room 3 and if the... More

we had a wonderful time. 3 days by the pool, 2 on safari and 3 more back by the pool - pure bliss. there's the "don't sit down/don't touch that" type of chic and the informal, comfortable and wholely inviting type and st. thomas is definitely that. the staff were wonderful, attentive and helpful - the rooms were large and... We stayed here for 2 nights as part of our honeymoon. Although it's a little tricky to find (hint: print a map to give to your taxi driver) once you arrive you won't be disappointed. This boutique hotel is ideal for a break on the Kenyan coast. Bruno, the owner and Joan, the manager will go out of their way... More

We couldn't have hoped for a better first hotel experience in Watamu. The place has stunning views, excellent service, very good food, and Bruno and Giusi are wonderful hosts that go out of their way to cater to your every desire. I cannot imagine staying anywhere else in Watamu! Bravi!
