While I cannot comment on the hotel portion of this property, I can say we did enjoy our dinner at the restaurant which has inside and outside dining areas. It being a warm evening my wife and I sat outside and had a wonderful meal at this establishment. Please be aware Tuscania is very European in that food serving and... More

We were coming to this little B&B after our B&B in Florence highly recommended it. My husband and I were so excited about the food and hospitality. Unfortunately when we arrived we did not get either. The entrance was locked--luckily we had a cell phone and called the number on the door and the owner answered and said someone would... More

Arrived later than expected and was shown our room - really clean, loved the decor. We knew straight away we were in for a treat and it just got better - superb food prepared and served by the owner - delicious and unusual pasta - bed was so comfy. You might well not get the warmest of welcomes or constant... More

In this bed&breakfast everything is a clear evidence of the care that the owner, a nice lady, puts in ruling it. The rooms may be a little small, but they are confortable, clean, and decorated with a personal taste (which, being personal, one can also not appreciate!). When the weather is good, the outiside location for the breakfast is fantastic,... More

A very romantic place, located inside a picturesque medieval town. The view from Mirandolina combines nature ancient buildings and castles. The sweetest gem is the restaurant. definitly the best dinner we ate in Italy in our 9 day trip.

I went to that hôtel in september with my husband. What a surprise. The first one was the worse welcome i've ever had in my own life for holydays. Maybe the owner was seek or tired i don't know. But we felt my husband and i that we were not waited and we felt that if was better if we... More

The restaurant at Locanda di Mirandolina is fabulous. The owner, Susannah, is a wonderful, creative chef. Her dishes incorporate all sorts of locally available foods into a unique and extremely pleasurable meal. Don't miss this place if you are in Tuscania, and if you are nearby it is worth the trip!

I went to the Mirandolina with my cousin in early February. What a great experience it was! Without a doubt it was the best meal I had during my whole stay in Italy. Suzanne, the owner and server was very gracious. The ambiance was delightful and the food gourmet. The prices were reasonable, considering the quality of the food we... More

How would you like to fly all the way from Toronto to Atlanta with a 4 hour stop over before taking off to Rome and then drive an hour and a half to your first B&B stop of a two week tour of Italy just to be greeted (if you can call it that) by a less than enthusiastic B&B... More

I was glad to know much"Anarp" enjoyed her visit to one of Ital's best kept secrets, Tuscania. But I was stunned to learn that she didn't feel warmly welcomed. I run a B&B (actually, a "Locanda") because I really enjoy meeting people from all over and sharing my corner of the world with them. I pride myself on my ability... More

We were very pleased with our recent stay in this lovely "country inn". Tuscania, a hilltop town orignally founded by the Etruscans, is located about an hour's drive north of Rome. We found the Inn charming both because of its small size (just 5 rooms, all tastefully decorated) and it's location within the medieval walls of Tuscania. We took breakfast,... More
