The room was clean and compact with everything that you would need for an overnight stop. The breakfast was extra, however there are tea/coffee facilities in the bedroom and plenty of coffee shops in Arras. Make sure you ask for a ground floor room if you don't want to carry your cases up the steps.

Turned up here without a booking on Ascension day (national holiday in France) and got the last twin bedded room. Hotel was clean beds were comfortable and the shower was hot. The food is not spectacular but is ample and good quality. Good place to stay to break a journey.

So we were visiting in France and stayed 6 days in Arras. Had a great time in the city and will review several restaurants we ate at. The price for the hotel was great and the hotel worked quite well. It's a bit north of downtown and the crazy roads of France made it too difficult to walk so we... More

Anyone who has stayed in a campanile expects small rooms but the bed was comfortable and the bathroom clean, except for the leak on the loo, The restaurant was smart looking and the food the usual camapnile fayre of a range of 3 buffet menus for dinner and continental breakfast buffet. It's a few years since we stayed in this... More

Stayed for one night. It was ok but does not do it for me. It's very basic and the metal shutters on all the room windows gave a sense of insecurity. I think it's a case of you get what you pay for. We had a meal with drinks in the restaurant and found it very expensive. Would I stay... More

This Campanile was the 1st we have stayed. Shocked to see the size of the room at first but our stay of 6 nights was a very pleasant and wholly pleasing experience. The bed was especially comfortable with adequate facilities. Quiet ground floor level room with en-suite fitted our needs really well for our trip to see WW1 battle sites... More

Stayed here for an overnighter on the way down to the Dordogne. Room was modern and clean with a comfy bed and a hot shower. Ate in the hotel restaurant as we could not find anything in town. Food was simple but tasty, though a tad expensive. Our meal cost more than our room! Unremarkable, but I guess that's all... More

Campanile Hotels are pretty standard wherever one goes, and the Campanile at St Nicolas on the eastern outskirts of Arras is much the same as any other in appearance. That said, the hotel was spotlessly clean, the service at the front desk very good, and the food in the restaurant of a high standard. We stayed two nights and would... More

A newly renovated Campanile on a small industrial estate on the edge of Arras, easy to find from the motorway sign posted to St.Nicholas. We stayed for one night on our return from La Rochelle and at a cost of 49 euros it was good value. The service in the restaurant was slow although there wasn't many people eating and... More
