A fantastic place for group travel and having your own bed and room. Rooms are huge with full kitchens. We all socialized and ate together in one room so that people who wanted to go to bed earlier could do so. The location is excellent for shopping, beach, and the odd ice cream cone!

By seeing the reviews of the trip advisor, I was little worry about the quality of the hotel. But it turned out to be very good for us. The hotels and cabin in waskesiu were all in high price, so we can't complain the price. We had one bedroom suite on the second floor. There is parking on the back... More

Our family were welcomed at the Waskiseu Lake Lodge!!! We require a wheelchair accessible room as my husband is in a wheelchair. The doors were wide enough to get through! Bathroom was big enough! Toilet was a bit low but my husband is very tall! Bedroom has a double bed plus a single (used for caregivers)! We we close to... More

We just returned from a family holiday at Waskesiu Lake Lodge. We had booked the 3-bedroom unit on the upper level and a 1-bedroom unit on the lower level. Both units were clean and well-maintained. Staff were friendly and accommodating. Easy access to beach, restaurants and shopping. Would certainly recommend to family & friends.

When we checked in, the manager, Dwayne, met us at the room to show us around and make sure we knew how everything worked. When we ran out of propane, he ran right upstairs with a full canister. Our room was cozy and I loved the view of the trees and lake off our balcony. We ate next door at... More

We have stayed at the Waskesiu Lake Lodge a few times, and are always impressed with the staff and great accomodations. Gotta love the free wi-fi and kitchenette - perfect for bringing the family. We love the convenience and cost savings of being able to bring our own food, and the full kitchen makes it possible. We even saw that... More

My wife and I spent one night here on our way north for a fishing trip. The room was clean and neat and the kitchenette was well equipped. The living room funiture was not the most comfortable. Parking is either on the street or on an unsurfaced rear parking lot which was a bit messy after the recent rain. The... More

This was my family's first visit. Firstly, the owners/staff were very friendly and accommodating, but I'm sorry to write that the one bedroom kitchenette room was very "lack lustre" and absolutely not worth the high price. This "resort" needs a major over hall to bring it up to the the $200 dollar price tag. Our room was like in a... More

This is our family's third year coming to Waskesiu and staying here at the Lodge. What keeps us coming back are the excellent staff, very clean suites and breathtaking views! I don't know what mouse poop lady was talking about! This is amazing!! Highly recommended

We had a long weekend here with family so took a two-bedroomed unit. For the price (even towards the end of the season it seemed expensive) it was pretty basic accommodation and there was a weird lack of furniture despite plenty of space. There was lots of space in the kitchen area for more counter top that would have made... More
