This is one of the most beautiful chateau's I have ever stayed in. It is like going back in time. The whole setting is so picturesque that you feel like you are not in modern France. Love the surrounding areas and the moat!

We stayed here for a family event over the weekend. The ambiance is incredible, the area is lovely and it was extremely relaxing to get out of Paris for a few days. The rooms in the castle are cozy and anciently decorated. The restaurant offers an amazingly tasting menue. The waiters seem to be trainees but are eager to learn... More

We loved the entrance to the chateau and the grounds and the food in the restaurant is absolutely wonderful. Our one nit-pick is that the rooms were a bit pokey and tired and did not live up to the photos on the website. Nevertheless, we would come back again.

I loved the entrance , the surrounds and the moat to this grand house. We stayed in the Saladin suite which had the bedroom situated in the round tower. It also had a cosy sitting room and the bathroom was delightful. The tapestries on the wall gave a very medieval feel. There were several nicely decorated communal sitting rooms but... More

we normally stay in epernay but decided to have a change . Our room was in one of the 'towers ' in the chateau and was very spacious if a little tired - only added to its charm We ate twice at the restaurant and probably should have only done once as its fine dining menu is delicious but very... We have stayed at Chateau a couple of times, once several years ago, and again just recently. The big change was the addition of the Orangerie rooms, where we stayed this time. These are large (by French standards) rooms, modern, very clean, very quiet and comfortable. They also have rooms in the main chateau that we stayed at before. These... More

We spent 1 night here and wished it was longer. We had a wonderful time just exploring the Chateau and the grounds. My 2 children (ages 9 and 6) had a ball riding the bikes and playing chess in the Salon. We had dinner at the Restaurant and the meal was divine. Breakfast was great, the best croissants I've ever... This was our first trip to the Champagne region, and we joined friends here that have used the Chateau annually for the past eleven years. We were not dis-appointed. This really is an imposing and I must say ...stunning Chateau offering a 'Shabby Chic' feel and oozing the character of its period... The grounds and the surroundings are charming and... More

We wanted to stay in a small room but got a bigger room for a little more expensive price and it feels right at home. The food was very good and service too. This castle deserves a three star. The breakfast should be better though for 18 euro per person. Better champagne and more variety in hot food. Overall very... More

Stayed here 2 nights on a weekend package including breakfast and 2 dinners. Our room was quirky and lovely. The chateau has a feel of faded grandeur, old but clean and very comfortable. A pity that the charming moat had been leaking, and was almost empty. Etoges is well placed for visiting the champagne houses. (We love Tribault in the... More
