We stayed in the attic room of this chateau, so I was expecting it to be a bit pokey, but it was really lovely, enough space, beautiful views, and really great service. I'd highly recommend the chateau to anyone in the area.

What a wonderful place! It's as impressive as the pictures show! We thoroughly enjoyed our three nights here, although there were a few little creature comforts missing. The bed sloped inwards so we kept rolling into each other in the night and the lighting in the rooms is very dim. But we loved our view of the moat and the... More

My wife and I went with another couple and we were determined to enjoy ourselves on our short break. We picked this Chateau as it looked so impressive on the website. We had a suite and our friends had a good size room in the main part of the building, both were satisfactory but not exceptional, our bathroom could have... More

Dear Sir GunterMorrow, We received your very detailled comments concerning your visit in Chateau d'Etoges and let us thank you. We are delighted to read that you enjoyed a lot our French Cuisine and the service of our waitress. I am sorry to hear your feeling about the cheese trolley service and I regret the misunderstanding about the order: if... More

Beautiful grounds (moat, ducks, swans and fountain, private parking), very quiet, great breakfast and amazing dinner experience. Staff was very friendly and food was excellent. Highly recommend large double room.

We recently spent a weekend at the Chateau. It was a lovely place with a wonderful staff, excellent restaurant and very good breakfast. We stayed at one of the rooms in L'Orangerie, which was very clean and comfortable. We also took advantage of the spa, which was small, but enough to let you relax for a little bit. The next... More

Beautiful building with its own moat surrounded by vineyards. Our rooms were in the orangery and were clean and comfortable with views to the surrounding countryside. We ate in the restaurant....which was very good...staff made you feel very comfortable. Food was simply fantastic though maybe a bit pricey....if on a budget there is the Forge , a short walk into... This was our second visit to the Chateau, and this time we stayed in the Orangery. The room was large, well appointed and comfortable. We had dinner which was excellent. We had a few local cheeses from the cheese trolley which were amazing. The breakfast is served in a lovely breakfast room in the Chateau. On checkout there were mistakes... More

The chateau is very beautiful. Not much to do at the chateau, but it's a convenient location if you want to explore the Champagne region. We stayed at the Orangery next to the chateau. Room is classical and romantic. May need to avoid the rooms immediately next to the elevator, which is a bit noisy. Must dine at their restaurant.... More

So I'm writing this review as I lie in bed on our last morning at this picturesque chateau. All in all the place fantastic in a grandiose setting. As you drive through the gates and in to the grounds you feel as though you are in a film. We ate in the restaurant on the first night (buying the gastronomic... More

I have stayed at this hotel several times and still do so. The hotel is fine and the rooms are very comfortable, from the smallest to the largest. I could not recommend rooms in the orangerie, which is an annex to the actual Chateau. The highlight is the restaurant, and guests are encouraged to eat at the award winning restaurant.... More
