We recently stayed at the Chateau D'Etoges to celebrate my significant birthday, this being our first visit. We were totally impressed by the beautiful Chateau and location. Staff were friendly and helpful, nothing was too much trouble. The restaurant was sublime, food and service were exceptional - special note to the restaurant manager who was so polite and efficient and... More

We have stayed at Chateau Etoges several times now and have always loved it and recommended it to our friends. We stayed in the Orangerie which is very comfortable, although the rooms could do with a bit of a face lift. However, for the price, I can't complain. The restaurant is very nice and the food delicious. It's not cheap... More

Just love the setting for the chateau. You enter through a gateway and drive a short way up a tree-lined avenue before spotting the chateau which is surrounded by a moat. On arrival we decided to sit at one of the tables outside the orangery and have a bottle of champagne; the waiter recommended a bottle of rose to us... More

Étoges is not in the center of Champagne, it lies in the southern limits of the region. You won’t find crowds here because the town itself is small and quiet. So if you are looking for something outside of Epernay and Reims that is rather rural, Étoges is the place. Chateau D’Étoges is a handsome hotel, quiet, room for stretching... More

Our 3rd stay. We stopped here first when we were planning to visit the old French racing circuit at Geaux,Reims. It is a beautiful chateau with a wonderful sense of friendly peace. The lounge which is usually completely empty after 11.00 am, is worn looking and may seem to some a little old and dreary. Yes,I would change a few... More

We spent a marvellous 5 nights at this great location. The Chateau room was huge - we even discovered a second bedroom up a little stairway from the en suite bathroom !! Its a great location for visiting Vallee de la Marne and the champagne cellars and everything the region has to offer. The chateau staff were terrific and very... More

This is a very impressive clasical chateau with a moat and towers. The rooms are xomfortable but a bit dated, however bathrooms are clean and modern. The staff are very courteous and helpful. The restaurant in the Orangerie is incredible with food that you will remember for a long time - especially the cheese section. The village of Etoges has... More

4 of us booked 2 rooms for one night stay in the chateau. Since we arrived, all the staff were so helpful and smilely. The chateau was quite full so we could only book two different room types. The staff was so nice that he showed us both room so that we can pick what we like. And they were... More

Not much to add that has not been said before in all the other 'Excellent' reviews. This was our second(and third) visit as the hotel and location make it good far a stop-over when visiting friends in southern Germany. We have not stayed in the Orangery, each time we have been in the Chateau itself. It is true, there is... More
