This hotel was wonderful in every way possible. I travelled there with my family and we had two rooms. The rooms my parents stayed in had wonderful high ceilings with amazing old style furniture. Beyond the bathroom was a stairwell leading up to a small, pink room. Truly an emblem from the time this was not inhabited by a hotel... More

Amazing grounds and a getaway to just relax ! The castle is a break from the busy city! We stayed at the main castle as not too busy! The staff were very very helpful. Gave us welcome champagne! Across the street is a wine place and will give you a tour

My wife and I have stayed here several times in the past. Recently, we due to go with our children, when I was hospitalised with a serious illness. This is a delightful Hotel with lots of character. We have stayed here on several occasions when returning to the UK. It makes a lovely end to our holiday. The atmosphere of the chateau is delightful and the comfort and warmth of the place is very appealing. The rooms are well maintained and have all that is needed to make... More

This wonderful old chateau has lovely large rooms and very comfortable beds. The bathroom, which includes a bath and a shower, is very up to date. There was a separate toilet. Great views over parkland to the side and rear of the chateau, and a wide driveway with various outbuildings to the front. The staff were helpful and friendly and... More

We so enjoyed staying at the Chateau. We had spend the day touring Chateau Fontainebleau so when we arrived at our historic room with the canopy bed and "secret passage" our 12 year old daughter was absolutely delighted! We all felt like we were transported back in time. We moved to a renovated room for the 2nd night (as we... More

We have stayed in many French Chateaux but Chateau Etoges is our absolute favourite. Over the years we have stayed there on 5 occasions which is no small feat considering we live in Australia. Not only is this 15th Century with its moat beautiful, it's restaurant (in our opinion) equals some of the Michelin star dining experiences we have shared.... More

This is one of the most beautiful chateau's I have ever stayed in. It is like going back in time. The whole setting is so picturesque that you feel like you are not in modern France. Love the surrounding areas and the moat!

We stayed here for a family event over the weekend. The ambiance is incredible, the area is lovely and it was extremely relaxing to get out of Paris for a few days. The rooms in the castle are cozy and anciently decorated. The restaurant offers an amazingly tasting menue. The waiters seem to be trainees but are eager to learn... More

We loved the entrance to the chateau and the grounds and the food in the restaurant is absolutely wonderful. Our one nit-pick is that the rooms were a bit pokey and tired and did not live up to the photos on the website. Nevertheless, we would come back again.

Dear Piqbu, Thank you for your feedback, there are all important for us. We are pleased that you enjoyed the ground, the chateau and the food in our restaurant. You may have found the room small as you may have booked our smallest room category, please be reassured as our other rooms categories that are a bit more pricey are... More
