Hell Ya ! We decided to take advantage of the early BC spring this year and happened on this unique corner just outside of Savona. The owner said she was not open yet, but we were more than welcome to stay and pointed us to a campsite she calls " River 1" wow-wow-wow ! The full on beauty of our... More

We stayed here on our road trip around the Rockies and loved every second. Tammy the host ran out to greet us when we arrived and proceeded to make our stay unforgettable. She made us dinner which we took back to our cabin. (Yummy pizza). We toasted marshmallows on the outdoor fire pit, lay back and watched the stars. In... More

What a jewel of a place ! We are shocked by those slanderous negative reviews. We had an amazing time and found our little piece of heaven on the Thompson. The B&B was spacious clean with cheerful country décor. The breakfast was fantastic. The fishing some of the best in BC if not the world ! The service was better... More

Heading east or west on 97, just keep going. We made the mistake of staying here... very bad. The restrooms/ outhouses were bad. The owner had a car parked at the house with loud music playing through the open windows. For $30 there was nothing, the showers and only toilet were in a dilapidated trailer filled with moths and mosquitoes.... More

The following reviews are not exaggerated! Shoddy campground and indifferent hostess. We were asked for an extra $5 to use the shower (only available in the morning) but, after a sleepless night and a look at the facilities in the light of day, decided to pack up and leave. For a business that deals in cash, it was very strange... More

If you are looking for a nice place on the river this is not it. We were sorely disappointed and felt ripped off at $10.00 per person per nite. The outhouses were disgusting and the owner was hesitant to clean them for us. Her 5 dogs barked in the nite for hours and the owner denied it in the morning.... More

We booked in with a family reunion for the long weekend. Upon arriving we pulled into a "hook up site", this consisted of a water hook up and no power at the site. We paid $40 a night for 15amp and water... When we asked about the power service we were told we need to move over and be awning... More

Wow! What a rip-off. The B&B is a dump. 2 tiny, smelly bedrooms in a doublewide with the cigarette smoking owner in the next room. The upholstery was stained and torn. The bedding was torn and the place was very sub-par. The "cabin" was far from the outhouse - no electricity, no running water, and a broken futon that we... More
