My Son and I just returned from an eleven day motorcycle vacation to Nova Scotia. We had planned to spend the night in Inverness but found no rooms were available and through the efforts of another motel were able to contact the Margaree Riverview Inn and confirm they had a room available for us. After riding in the rain on... More

Restaurant on premises was closed. Had to go elsewhere for breakfast. Friendly staff but the motel is generally over promoted. It needs repair work and the rooms need more attention to cleanliness. Price was the most I would pay for this quality. No place to sit when in a motel room, except at edge of gravel parking lot if you... More

For the price we paid for Suite 1, this was great value...2 bedrooms with private bathrooms attached, lounge area, dining table, small kitchenette. The Inn could use a coat of paint outside and some updating of furnishings, decor etc but this was not crucial to a good night's sleep...which is what my friend and I were looking for en route... This was a nice quiet and inexpensive place to start a tour of the Cabot Trail. Room was clean and the heat had been turned on. It is basic, but for the cost and convenience a nice place to stay. It is motorcycle friendly as well! We were probably the first riders on the trail this season.

My first impression walking into the office was the horrible smell. Just awful. We were given a room with red smelly dirty carpet, no wifi connection, and a BLOOD stain on the blanket! Owner was very rude and unprofessional. Very unimpressed

Spent 3 nights in September. A good deal and pleasant stay. Accommodations are clean and quiet. Nice location. Room included refrigerator and microwave - important to us. Be sure to walk down to the river forks area behind the library to see the real "Forks". Beautiful !!

I stayed in the suite 1 for a few nights with my dad whilst we were fishing in the local area and the accomodation was great value. The owner was very helpful and I would recomend it. The people in this area are very friendly.

We found this Inn on trip advisor, it looked OK, read the reviews and should have listened to them. On first glance it is in need of a lot of repair along with up dating (which I can usually live with); when we first entered the room the scent was old and musty, opened windows and it was OK. VERY... More

I called in reservations about a month in advance after contacting by e-mail about the date I needed. A few days after I called to confirm the reservation, he called to say they had made an error, and did not have the room I had requested, then within an hour he called and said they had had a cancellation. When... More

Contrary to recent reviews, i thought this place was great value for the price - the room was very clean with a microwave, refridgerator and coffee maker - paying half of what we paid in other places. The owner was a little mercurial - but OK. It was too cold to use the pool - but we did use the... More
