The hotel was great, the weather was great. The people is nice. Many activities to do and play. But the room was very small and food is relatively expensive. Overall experience is good. Will try another hotel in genting next time.

I go to Genting regularly and in most instances stayed at the First World Hotel. I find their hotel counter staff do not like to service with a "smile". However, on my last trip I met a counter staff who is always smiling and helpful and that really perked up my holiday there. I felt so good with her attitude... More

It is all very well having a plush reception , and a sign announcing that you hotel holds the world record for having the most rooms; But when every one of those rooms is a shabby dump there's really not too much to boast about! We stayed the night of the Lionel Richie concert on 13th April. We reserved a... More

Introduction The Chinese name of the hotel on booking.com is “雲頂名勝世界酒店”. Howerver on the official website of the Genting Highlands in the Chinese language, “名勝酒店” means “Resort Hotel”, different from First World Hotel(第一大酒店). So we check-in in the wrong hotel first. It really embarrassed me. Service Check-in area is wide with two phases. Service is routine work and standard, the... More

We arrived at the hotel and the first thing that struck us was its sheer size and the vibrant colors it was painted in, making it look like a giant color fountain.. The hotel has an indoor theme park which is pretty nice, though a little expensive. The buffet is lavish, but very few options for Indian vegetarians- but the... More

Checked in at the e-kiosk, specified to the personnel there, that we wanted a non-smoking room with view facing the greenery- was told we could opt for only one, so we took the non-smoking room on tower 2 - 25th floor. Even though our room was a non-smoking room, it smelt of tobacco smoke the moment we walked, we had to... More

Always the first choice when we're on a low budget. Rooms are small, the difference between standard and deluxe is just the size of the washroom, whether the basin is inside or out. LOL Food court downstairs is like a heaven in Genting, where you have limited choice of food. Free coffee inside First World Casino *LOL*
