Just home from a totally relaxing fun weekend with our 5 and 7 year old at Rigbeys farm, we had such a blast and really got involved with all aspects of the farm from feeding piglets, ducks, geese and poor little Sucky the orphan calf....the food was fantastic and was made with great commitment to the ethos of ethical farming. The... More

We stayed at Rigney's Farm for 3 nights. We wanted to stay outside of the city and get a genuine feel for the Irish countryside. We were using a map and got a little off track when the road no longer had names :) but the scenery was worth seeing and we found our way rather easily. My face lit... More

If you are looking for an anti-septic hotel-style experience you probably want to look elsewhere. But if you are interested in something a bit different, I highly recommend it. The owners are very friendly. My family loved being able to see all the animals fed (lots of pigs and ducks). Breakfast was good (fresh homemade soda bread). There is a... More

You'll need to know where you're going to get there, it's off the beaten path, but that is a big part of the appeal and the charm of this gorgeous farmhouse/manor. The Rigneys own and operate the attached organic, free-range farm, and you will enjoy the fruits of their labour each morning at breakfast. Fresh eggs, bacon, even homemade muesli... More

Although Rigney's Farm is a little difficult to find (we were given hand drawn directions at a local pub in Adare), it is more than worth the trek "off the beaten path." Upon your arrival at this beautiful estate, you are greeted by the canine welcoming committee and then provided with scones, tea, and coffee--perfect refueling for a walk in... More

We chose Rigney's farmhouse for our first night stay after a flight from Newark to Shannon. We had a lot of driving to do our first day to see things in Galway, and we needed to be in Cork the next day by noon, so decided to stay part way. We had visited Beagh castle in the afternoon and this... More

We recently stayed in Rigney's B&B and I can credit it with easily being the best B&B I've ever stayed in. The hospitality afforded to us was nothing short of top class. The location is beautiful and picturesque. The room was superb, an absolute joy to stay in and incredibly comfortable. The breakfast for us was one of many highlights.... More

I visited the Rigney's Farm and Bed and Breakfast in June and even today months later I am wishing for the wonderful restorative hospitality offered by Caroline and her family. Quality and thoughtful attention is present in all aspects of what they do. It is unique and inspiring to be treated to a complete Farmstead experience...farm to table. My only... More

Rigney's was an awesome place to stay. You're literally staying in the owners' home, in their bedrooms (ours was a childhood bedroom it seemed), etc. We were greeted with tea and snacks, and a quick tour of the grounds. It was absolutely stunning, and so cool with all the animals (even the dogs, who greeted us as we pulled in!)!... More

One of the best B&B's in Ireland Our stay was in july 2013. A wonderful experience. Caroline was incredible helping me finding my ancestors in Kilcornan. She called a local expert and did a lot of phone calls to locate my cousins. She has done everything she could to help me. The food was unbelievable and also the farm We... More
