We were two couples traveling on Motorcycles who were warmly welcomed despite all our dust and gear. In fact my husband and I had the large 4-poster bedroom and had tons of space. Upon arrival we relaxed in a living room set aside just for guests, and enjoyed the fresh, homemade soda bread and tea that Caroline prepared to welcome... More

Rigney's was a really great place in trying to get off the beaten path. Not far away from the nearby town of Adare, the rooms are lovely and the windows open up to stretches of countryside. The farm animals are pure fun and if you choose to participate in feeding them it's even more of an experience. The property is... More

We are a Spanish family of 4 who spent two nights at Rigneys. We were looking for a quiet place where we could experience the life in a farm. The experience was great for all the family thanks to Caroline and Joe who made it possible. Breakfast is prepared with products produced in the farm in a sustainable way. You... More

Just home from a totally relaxing fun weekend with our 5 and 7 year old at Rigbeys farm, we had such a blast and really got involved with all aspects of the farm from feeding piglets, ducks, geese and poor little Sucky the orphan calf....the food was fantastic and was made with great commitment to the ethos of ethical farming. The... More

We stayed at Rigney's Farm for 3 nights. We wanted to stay outside of the city and get a genuine feel for the Irish countryside. We were using a map and got a little off track when the road no longer had names :) but the scenery was worth seeing and we found our way rather easily. My face lit... More

If you are looking for an anti-septic hotel-style experience you probably want to look elsewhere. But if you are interested in something a bit different, I highly recommend it. The owners are very friendly. My family loved being able to see all the animals fed (lots of pigs and ducks). Breakfast was good (fresh homemade soda bread). There is a... More

You'll need to know where you're going to get there, it's off the beaten path, but that is a big part of the appeal and the charm of this gorgeous farmhouse/manor. The Rigneys own and operate the attached organic, free-range farm, and you will enjoy the fruits of their labour each morning at breakfast. Fresh eggs, bacon, even homemade muesli... More

Although Rigney's Farm is a little difficult to find (we were given hand drawn directions at a local pub in Adare), it is more than worth the trek "off the beaten path." Upon your arrival at this beautiful estate, you are greeted by the canine welcoming committee and then provided with scones, tea, and coffee--perfect refueling for a walk in... More

We chose Rigney's farmhouse for our first night stay after a flight from Newark to Shannon. We had a lot of driving to do our first day to see things in Galway, and we needed to be in Cork the next day by noon, so decided to stay part way. We had visited Beagh castle in the afternoon and this... More

We recently stayed in Rigney's B&B and I can credit it with easily being the best B&B I've ever stayed in. The hospitality afforded to us was nothing short of top class. The location is beautiful and picturesque. The room was superb, an absolute joy to stay in and incredibly comfortable. The breakfast for us was one of many highlights.... More
