We were stunned. Such a beautiful gem of a place hiding away in a wee village. Entering the airy hallway, we were shown to our beautiful, romantic, extreemly comfortable room by Pat (we discovered the delights of the ensuite shower room a little later - I wanted to take it home). He then showed us the spacious guest lounge and... more

Daphne is great - full of tips and info about the area. The rooms were good - felt at home instantly - clean, and the bathrooms were good. The stting room was a great plus since it allowed for a place to relax and chat when the weather decided it needed a bit longer to clear up than anticipated. The... more

This is a very deceptive Bed and Breakfast, from the outside it looks very unappealing, and its location is the same.It is situated on a busy narrow road, which you have to park on the kerb to get near to the door. The accommodation itself is excellent, and Daphne is the perfect host.Rathdrum itself was undergoing improvements to the area, and offered very liitle nigthlife and... more

This was our second stay and was every bit as warm and welcoming as the first. Daphne and Pat are great hosts and provide excellent care and attention. Wonderful breakfasts and warm and cosy - though large - rooms. We will return again soon to further explore the Wicklow/Wexford areas. more

This B&B is definitely a cut above and well worth using as a base to explore County Wicklow. We stayed here with our 6 month old baby and our parents, and had a lovely time. Daphne was really welcoming, and went out of her way to make sure we had everything we needed. The place itself is thoughtfully decorated, and... more

We arrived and were welcomed and shown around the property. Large room, somewhat dated decor but cosy and welcoming. Quiet small village. Lovely breakfast and good value, great location for seeing Wicklow. Recommended. more

Very comfortable and attractively decorated house with lovely guest lounge and very spacious and light bedroom/bathroom. Breakfast room also very nicely presented and breakfast was well above average. Coffee and tea making available in the breakfast room at all times. Daphne was very helpful particularly when we had ferry troubles - she went to some effort to find the right... more
