We arrived at Corsaro on a day that Mount Etna was erupting. Corsaro is REALLY up there! It is a gorgeous hotel with 360 views and is part of an intimate village with a few gift shops, a few other hotels, and a few cafes. After the daytrippers go back down to Taormina or beyond, only the hearty are left... More

We booked the room and made a note that we would like to reserve a table for dinner and if possible get a room with a view. We used one of the booking sites the day before and while we were sight seeing another part of Sicily. We did however get an e-mail reply with the standard information about excursions... More

We arrived late at night, but the man at the reception was extremely nice!! He explained all excursions, answered all of our questions (millions of them), and was able to share with us his love of the volcano. This certainly made our stay. The room was great, super clean, wifi is great. Only downside: the next day we wanted to... More

Stayed at this hotel 2 nights. Got there late on the 9th but the proprietor waited for us and had the kitchen stay open to feed us! What a welcome. First class facilities, good food, friendly staff and just a couple hundred meters away from the cable cars which took us to 2500 meters. I will stay there again!

Stopped there one night on our way to the beach. We regretted it was not two, to make things a little more leisurely. The hotel well maintained and well built, with warm and soundproof materials and windows. Staff was very courteous. Having booked two double rooms, were given two quad rooms on the top floor. Bath decently lit and shower... More

The place to stay if you are a serious hiker and don't want to drive up and down the mountain at the beginning and end of your days on Etna. It is at 2,000 metres up and right near the cable cars to easily start and end your Etna trip. However you will find much better hotels and restaurants down... More

The hotel was chosen by us due to fair closeness to Etnaland Land (aquapark) - takes 40 minutes to drive but it was the only option due to very short notice on our side. We ( the family of 4 with two kids) were surprised by very hospitable and friendly attitude of the personnel, clen and patio us room with... More

My daughter and I have been traveling in Sicily for about 8 days. Our stay at the Corsaro Hotel on Mount Etna has been one of the high points of our trip. We stayed at their beautiful and spacious hotel for two nights. What a great hotel!!! Davide and Alessandro are brothers. They own and run the hotel. They really... More

This is the best place where to stay if you want to "live" the Etna volcano, to relax and taste good food. You can walk to the nearby cable car and get almost to the top of Volcano; you can also chose between several kind of guided tours. Once you book, you will get immediately an email providing very useful... More

Good points: Excellent location. Very friendly and helpful staff. Rooms and hotel are both very clean. Food is OK and good value if you book half pension. Wellness area (sauna, hot tub etc) really good. Book early and through the link the owner will email you to use the wellness area. Hotel is a great base for walking and biking... More
