This hotel does not deserve 4 stars. There is neither parking nor a spot where you can unload your luggage. There is also no bar or toilet anywhere in the hotel. The shower in the standard room had such low pressure that taking showers was impossible but when given another room we were charged extra 11 Euros per room per... More

Many hotels have artwork nicely incorporated into their décor; here they commissioned truly handmade original pieces throughout. It gives the hotel a real flair. The design is excellent. My favorite space in the building was the roof-top breakfast lounge. With it’s full height windows, you get a vista of the surrounding mountains and the ocean in the distance. It might... More

We hadn't planned to stop off in Carrara and from the motorway it didn't look too promising. This hotel was also the only one listed in the town so I was expecting the worse. I was really pleasantly surprised by the welcome and the quality of the hotel. The room was comfortable and recently decorated. the bathroom was spacious with... More

We visited in October 2013 with Hugo our ten year old grandson to show him where the David stone came from. Carrara is a city of marble in the marble mountains. This hotel is a great location and a modern hotel with all that is required, and with the bonus of a roof top breakfast room and terrace that has... More

I stayed here for four nights in July with a group of others on a business trip. The hotel facilities are good, the staff are very helpful and many speak English, breakfasts are self service (as are many in Europe) with a good range of options that should suit all tastes. The view from the top floor restaurant is stunning,... More

Perfect location to the old town center. Fun artwork throughout the hotel. Our room was spacious, comfortable and quite. The hotel staff were welcoming and helpful. Breakfast, included in our rate, was more than adequate. Great value, we will definately be back for a longer stay at this hotel. Carrara is fascinating and the Marble Museum is not to be... More

Front of house staff are incredibly welcoming and speak English and are able to advise on all aspects of tourism in the area and are very knowledgeable in the surrounding areas of Carrara. Nothing was too much trouble and they went out of their way to make sure they exceeded our expectations when arranging things for us e.g. private transport.... More

We ran into this modern art musuem hotel by chance when looking for a place to stay in the Versilia beach area. Carrara is only a 15 minute car ride to the beaches. It is located in the hills in where you can visit the marble mines. It's a lot less expensive than staying on the coast and at the... More

This is a wonderful location for a visit to Carrara and surrounds. The hotel is very modern and comfortable in the centre of the old town centre. The staff were all very helpful and welcoming, particularly Claudia. A car here is helpful if you wish to visit the marble mines and the wonderful small towns in the mountains with their... More

By chance our group of four stumbled across this exquisite small hotel in the centre of the historic marble city of Carrara. It was refreshing to stay in a refurbish hotel featuring modern art works. It was a hotel where the female receptionist & her trainee went out of their way to be of assistance to us with informarion about... More
