Looks beautiful as a setting, though a few risky cracks in the ceiling and a sign to say 'mind your head' as you go in would assist my 6'1" husband! Lovely polite waiting/bar staff. Dropped by for dinner as a couple on our way home. Chose the Paella from the specials and everything went down hill from there. I've never... More

Stayed here for work. Hotel rooms a little dated, but clean and spacious, but above all, quiet! Received a very warm and friendly welcome from all the staff. Ate within the pub and the food was really good pub grub. Breakfast was excellent and cooked to order rather than sitting under hot lights for an eternity. No pretentiousness, just a... More

Stayed here for 1 (Saturday) night. The room was clean and comfortable. Excellent breakfast and friendly staff. We were woken by noisy guests in the early hours but that was not really the fault of the hotel. Otherwise a quiet and relaxing stay. We would have liked a snack in the evening rather than main course having eaten at lunch... More

Arrived for a late lunch. Plenty of car parking space. We received a warm welcome from the two waitresses on duty. A very good and varied menu for a lunchtime, good value for money. The pub is large and has lots of tables inside and out, this place does not pretend to be a restaurant and produces good food. There... More

Budget accommodation was ok if a bit noisy due to the locals tearing down the 50mph road adjacent, and the food was good, tried over two nights. Beer good too, breakfast adequate, plenty of parking and easily accessed, wifi went off overnight, phone signal poor if you need it for business but more than happy overall and thus declared "good... Stayed for 2 nights in this smashing hotel, as soon as I saw it I knew I'd love it - although the landlords a bit dodgy (JOKE!!!) ha ha!! Great rapport with the jolly land lord and land lady, great fun. Loved the room, loved the food, the staff were fab, shame about the wifi and phone signal but out... More

We stayed here for one night. The hotel is on a busy road but this was ok, very handy location. Spacious room with tea & coffee making facilities, nice tv with desk & table. Basic bathroom, but clean. We had a meal which was really nice & good size. Lovely breakfast & the staff very kindly toasted my gluten free... More

Booked the New Inn for overnight stay and business meeting as it is close to the M4 and good for access, but feels quiet and away from it all. Good rooms - exactly as you would expect from a country inn hotel/B&B; not the most modern, but clean, well equipped and very comfortable. Free WIFI is excellent (everywhere should be... More

This is in a lovely quiet location and provided comfortable and good sized accommodation with a room with a bath and shower. The hotel provided a good breakfast and a varied menu for dinner in the pub. Staff were friendly and helpful.
