A last minute booking at £65 for a tiny room with two single beds pushed together to make a "double" bed. The room was filthy, no one had bothered to Hoover it for weeks, a mouldy shower that doesn't drain away, hair and suspicious looking brown marks on the walls as well as stains on furniture and bedding. Don't bother... More

Stayed at this location for our annual summer holiday. Picked this place for location which is ideal to explore Devon as we were very close to the A30. Booked through Hoseasons as we had great holidays before. We were also bringing along our small dog. After a 5 hour drive down from the Midlands our family was very excited to... More

We stayed in the hotel on a stop off to Cornwall. The Room was very basic bu was clean and spacious. Beds were not overly comfortable. The bathroom was very small and the shower was dated and felt dirty. The mini bar was very expensive, £2 for a tiny can of coke. Breakfast was different to mainstream hotels as your... More

I stayed here with 5 friends at the start of July on an overnight golf break. The hotel rooms are clean and well presented. Some of our party had to share one of the log cabins and I can say they were nice and spacious as well. The food in the hotel restaurant is very nice and was included in... More

We stayed in one of the log cabins which was very well kitted out although we didn't like the operations of the cooker hob. This is of course a personal view. The dishwasher broke down but was quickly fixed and the fridge/freezer door was so well fitted that it caused a vacuum each time it was closed and was difficult... More

We stayed in a log cabin - good points: well equipped & reasonably clean, with fabulous views across the golf course to the hills beyond. Very peaceful, the outside decking area delightful to use. Restaurant - food very good and fairly priced, although screening from the Bar / TV area would be welcomed. Not so good: despite prior assertions, wifi... More

My husband and I wanted somewhere fairly close to Dartmoor, as our son was taking part in the Ten Tors Challenge. We booked Fingle Glen online as it had onsite parking and rates included breakfast. We arrived at about 9pm and were ‘upgraded’ from the main hotel, to a two bedroom log cabin, overlooking the golf course. Ir would have... More

It was a sunny day so we were able to enjoy the decking area and views of rolling Devon countryside. The drinks were served just as we wanted them to be, the food was delicious, there was plenty of it (and people loved being able to chose from a menu), everyone working on the day was very friendly and helped...
