The location of the parador is very good, the restaurant is excellent, but the rooms are not really up to the standard. It definitely did not help, that we were given two rooms for smokers, a thing that I did not think existed any more. It seem altogether a bit run-down.

I have stayed at this Parador twice, this time with my wife. She shared my enthusiasm both about the location/nature and the atmosphere of this place. Breakfast was excellent, too. Reading some of the below reviews, I see the point concerning renovations, etc - but maybe not change anything to preserve some places where the old school still rules... -))

Great hotel with the most amazing location. Arrival was great.
