its a little outdated but the staffs are friendly and helpful, i think its time for a refurbishment and upgrade would be fantastic... beach is almost non-existence... the rest of the facilities is ok... much needed improvement would be better...

It was awful. It's time to demolish this place. Advertised "hotel by the beach" is a simple lie - there is no usable beach but rather a coastline. "Refreshing pool" is dirty, staff is indifferent, prices are high and the service is non existent. Has nothing to do with the usually good experience at Millennium Hotels. Just don't stay here... Having been here many times before. It is like coming home. Yes it is getting old, but the staff are so friendly, and the lobby as you walk in is just great. I have never stayed in the tower block. Only the lower rooms near the beach. The rooms are huge with a balcony and great view. The plumbing is... More

Stayed there in March 2014 and had a great stay , old style ,plush furnishings and one of the best breakfasts we have had on our trips to Asia ! Our room had a great ocean view & it was roomy with a good size bathroom. We enjoyed the location as there are plenty of restaurants & outdoor eateries close... More

This is definitely not up to the Copthrone standard, it's very old and yet it's ok for the price you have paid. Staff were not so bad and the breakfast was pretty average. But again what you pay is what you get. Don't expect a flash 4 star Copthorne Hotel! There are hawker stalls just around the corner from the... More

The bathroom of the room I stayed in leaked and the toilet didn't flush. There was an extremely noisy guest who was banging all night. The breakfast buffet was below average. The private "beach" is but a strip of dirty grey sand. The only redeeming thing is the view. I would not stay again.

The first question that came in mind was "is this really a 4-star hotel?", it's really a terrible. starting with the facilities, everything is old and outdated, and we can say "everything has been abused", the bathroom was absolutely bad. The breakfast buffet was just as bad as the rooms. Don't go for this hotel unless you have no other... More

Arrived on Friday, was greeted by one of the guy staff. Before I alight, he was already waiting to take my luggage out from the trunk. He then took my luggage and guided me to the receptionist. Waited at the receptionist area while we checked in and handed us some maps and places of attractions. Needed to pay additional 6... More

The shower control was totally unusable. The hotel management needed to repair the shower control in the middle of night. Equally worst were the bathroom facility and bedding. There wasn't toothbrush and toothpaste available, and the blanket was too thin for a room which air con function was not user friendly. The consolation was the bell boy was pretty friendly.

The main concern with this hotel is the incredibly rude Malay receptionist. I think she's forgotten that her only role is customer service, which entails being helpful. However, she was quite simply awful and lets the entire hotel down. The hotel itself is in desperate need of either a) pulling down and rebuilding or b) a complete overhaul. The rooms... More
