We got into Strawberry Hall by chance and never regretted. With its large rooms, huge baths, sprawling lake facing compound it was a memorable stay for us. We had total privacy. We never felt crapped up and crowded like most of the hotels in Nainital. The best thing was the owner and his family stays in one part of it... More

Rs 8000 / day booking denied when we reached hotel. Forced to stay in another hotel where rate was less. Second day dumped in room with no windows. Beware. Lot of fighting. Complaints to makemytrip. In the end, my family suffered. Paltry refund after 2 months of fighting. Go on your own risk.

Unlike a typical B&B, Radhika who owns Silent Trail played the perfect host. We were travelling to Nainital from Delhi. It was a 10 hour drive which meant that we would be reaching Nainital at 8 p.m. Radhika called us in the afternoon inquiring on where we were and what would our 6 year ols son prefer for dnner as... A very small property with limited amenities. Super excellent service which makes for all the shortcomings. Pros: - Close to nature, away from hustle & bustle of main city area. Find yourself amidst chirping birds and langoors - Excellent food. Its like a super tasty home made food. - Very good service by staff. specially the property manager Kailash Bisht... More

It was a hectic 8 hours drive to Nainital from Noida and all my family was looking forward to was a comfortable room and good food. So, long story cut short, we landed up at The Hive around 3PM... In today's hectic lifestyle and busy schedules where everyone is slogging to make their life’s better, it's equally important to rejuvenate the body and soul. What better place than the city of lakes Nainitaal. It has always been enchanting to visit the hill station, but, this time around it was an altogether different experience. The Hive, situated in the midst... More

I stayed in room#1 that has 2 attached rooms and single washroom. I stayed with my mother, wife and two kids. This place is a steep climb from mall but the greenery/view/fresh air is perfect. I did not mind the climb as I had a car with driver. We loved the room that was done up in heritage/colonial style and... More
