We were with 4 persons a week in the region and enjoyed our stay in the Castello Santa Vittoria. Comfortable clean rooms. Beautiful views from the room over the valley, the scenery and the restaurants Savino Mangelli and Al Castello A nice place to return to relax after a busy day. a very nice swimming pool (a sauna would have... We were part of a wine tour so it was completely unknown to us beforehand. Wonderful place. The staff speak Italian, English, French, Spanish, & German; they are extremely helpful & accommodating. Our room (#352) was fabulous, & huge. We had a "breakfast" table & chairs, desk & chair, a sofa, 2 "living room" chairs, and enough closet space for... More

This is a beautiful hotel. Set on a hill with magnificent views all around, it can be seen for miles as well. We had a lovely time. From the onset of booking the satff were extremely helpful in our planning, suggesting places to go and places to eat. On arrival we were so happy to have a room with such... More

We were originally booked in an agriturismo during the white truffle festival but due to some problems at that place, they rebooked us at hotel Castello instead. Beautiful place ---felt very historical styling in a castle while the interiors were redone in a very modern way. Breakfast was lovely and staff were superb --- genuinely nice, warm, friendly and went... More

The castle have an amazing view, the place takes you to a different view, the rooms are modern and perfectly combined to match with the castle style, it's 20 minutes away from Alba center and 20 min from local winerys, only bad part is the road to drive up and down.

Very nicely renovated castle in beattiful hilltop location. Interior is a bit modern and not very charming but very comfortable. Big and clean rooms (please improve quality of pillows) Very friendly staff, good breakfast and restaurant. Wine selection can be further improved Would very much recommend for short stay to explore Langhe.

The hotel is located on top of the hill in the small and unpersonal village of Santa Vittoria d'Alba. The hoteltower can be spotted from afar and is therefore easily to find and to recognize in the Roero Region. However, the road towards it starts from a very busy road between Alba and Bra, with big shops (Decathlon, Bennet, McDonalds... More

The castle looks really nice from the outside and it is situated on a scenary hill. However we were very disappointed by the rooms: they were freshly renovated in an attempt to give a luxury feeling but the modern white cheap furniture completly spoils the castle athmosphere and gives you an hospital like sensation (it also smelled like an hospital!).... We stayed at this hotel years ago before it was renovated and found it charming. We hoped to relive our experience but were disappointed. The hotel has been renovated; however the furniture and closets are press board. The restaurants, however, we're the most disappointing. There are two: one has a Michelin star, and we were told hours after we checked... More
