Small cozy hotel. The hostess was waiting for us at the door and greeted us by our name. We had a beautiful room with an excellent view of two volcanoes. We got a ATV tour to the Laguna Verde lake, and another to a waterfall, the sightseen was wounderfull. I do recomend it!

I cannot say enough wonderful things about Hotel Juayua!!! We stayed for three nights and felt like family. Alberto made our room available early in the day so we could crash after arriving from a red-eye flight. Our three children felt like they were in paradise and spent free time building a house out of bamboo for their resident bunny... More

We accidentally ended up in Hotel Juayua. this hotel is perched on the top of a hill above juayua with great views of the volcanoes. i found it very relaxed and peaceful. most of the staff was very kind but none of them speak english. if you're looking for more of a community feel and to meet other travelers, stay at casa mazata down the hill. if... Thanks to the reviews we booked a couple of rooms here for a night away from our beach resort. Very pretty area with waterfalls, volcanoes and coffee plantations to visit. Beautiful setting, nice gardens complete with a rabbit. A wonderful relaxing solitude. Make sure your room has hot water and water pressure - not all of them do. But the staff is so nice they will work hard to fix whatever needs it.

I decided to go to Tazumal, Casa Blanca, Kaltepet and end up in Juayua for a couple of days over Thanksgiving. I checked around and found Hotel Juayua and it was available. We loved our stay so much in Hotel Juayua. For three of the days we were the only people there. So on the 2nd day they uncovered the pool. The staff work so hard.
