Hotel Central is a small, tastefully converted, hotel in the centre of Valdepenas. Easy to find and has secure underground car park. Nice entrance and either stairs or lift to reception which is on the first floor. The owner is very friendly and room on the second floor was spacious and immaculately clean. Very comfortable bed and window overlooked the... More

Stopped overnight on the way to Santander from Fuengirola. Hotel spotless, rooms well appointed and very comfortable. Staff all really helpful and very friendly, nothing was too much trouble. The hotel is well situated, very close to the extremely vibrant centre of this charming town. Reasonably priced secure (underground) parking. Will stay again, thoroughly recommended.

If you are travelling north south through Spain, or perhaps Madrid to Marbella as we were, this makes a welcome stopover where choice along the way is limited. Two hours south of Madrid, and perhaps four hours north of Marbella / Malaga, it sits just off the motorway in a pleasant but unremarkable town. Arriving late, we were given a... More

Owned and managed by Jose Luis this hotel was a delight and perfectly situated next to the charming square, On arrival we were offered the only room left, a break we needed during our long drive down through Spain from North to South. The room was very spacious, clean, modern and really comfortable. A lift leading to the underground carpark... More

Yet another town and hotel that we used as a one-night stop over, but regretted leaving so soon. Simple rooms, but very clean and very quiet, good wifi, great common patio courtyard and breakfast room area. Right in the heart of town. Trust GPS....even though it seems there is no hotel there...there it is. Secure roomy parking, though tight get... More

Its in the center of Valdepenas. For us was important safe carage for the car. Rooms are rather big and clean with all necessary things incl internet. There is nearby very good and nice restaurants. Valdepenas is a small wine production city, and most wines are very good what you get in the restaurants. Hotel is a historical building which... More

This hotel was previously an old bank so the entrance is quite unusual. There is a beautiful staircase up to the reception. We were greeted by one of the most friendly and helpful receptionist I have ever met, and all the other staff were the same. There is a secure underground garage which has quite a sharpe turn but with... More

My wife and I used this hotel as a stopping point on our way from Santander to Marbella. It fully lived up to its expectations. The hotel owner had kept the building's beautiful ancient facade and transformed the interior into a modern hotel. Everything appeared spotless and, given the hotel's modest status, We were surprised to see marble flooring throughout... More

The hotel is perfect for a stop-off in Valdepeñas. Spotlessly clean with all the necessary features for one night en route elsewhere. The bathroom is well-equipped and has basic toiletries with good tv in the bedroom. Breakfast was €3.50 for fresh orange juice, a piece of toast and coffee or tea. A banana would have been extra. Parking excellent, adjacent... More

We have stayed in Valdepenas several times when driving down to Andalucía, but this was the first time we have stayed in this hotel. It had a garage for the car which is always useful. The service was very friendly. The room was clean and we had a bath - though why are Spanish baths always so tiny?). The only... More
