Expect two stars and maybe you will be positively surprised. Originally top hotel in old communistic period. Do not expect to have beer during lunch. Sometimes they may run out of... Do not expect clean and prepared table for the breakfast. Be lucky if bored staff will direct you in less dirty table and clean it only after second urgency.... More

First of all, prices are adequate for a nice 4-star hotel. I had finally chosen this hotel because it had a promising wellness and honestly, I really thought that 4 stars will do its magic together with the amazing nature all-around, Apparently, couldn´t been more wrong! This hotel used to be a meeting point for the Polish and Slovakian president.... More

The hotel is very good, the views are great and the spa center is amazing. The food was ok. The room with balcony is better, the size of the room is good. There is not much to do around the hotel, you must drive somewhere - Poland, Hight Tatras etc..

Very silent location, plus great view on the mountains. Formerly an area / holiday resort closed for public, accessible for the communist Party / Govt. members. Location on the northern side of the High Tatra Mts., far away from crowded tourist centres and popular holiday destinations, outside the village, few hundred metres from the SK-PL state border (which means "too... We arrived in a party of 40 noisy Brits. Stunning setting, Receptionist had reasonable command of English and quickly checked us all in. Room was large with a beautiful view. Buffet meal each evening was fine - hot, plentiful and good choice. My only gripe would be that the hot water system couldnt cope with all the showers being run... More

This might have been a great hotel in the days of the communism, but in 2012 it's a bit different. The first impression when you enter the big lobby is good, there everything is nice and clean, and you're having a beautiful view on the mountains. However, when you go to your room, it's becoming less nice. The walls need... More

A mountain hotel, in a stunning location, where I stopped for lunch. Unfortunately, the food certainly did not merit its 4 stars. A rather surly waiter took my order, delivering an insipid soup and tepid and rather ‘old’ wiener schnitzel, with black pepper in the coating, despite my specific request- in Slovak- for nothing including this. If you’ve ever attempted... More

On arrival rooms not ready, support staff is very weak, poor selection of food, equipment rooms horrible, low quality old CRT TV no LCD, no towels for children, extra bed for children - the height from the floor about 10-15 cm, central heating - repeatedly broken, extremly cold corridors, wellness average, level **, certainly not ****

The hotel is on the edge of a nature reserve in the mountains, just outside a small village. WLAN is free in the area around reception / the restaurant. Some of the staff were excellent, some seemed clueless, most spoke adequate English. The rooms are large and come with a balcony. Deer come out of the woods to graze the... More
