Upon our arrival, we were greeted by Sally and Micheal, who we found to be very gracious and hospitable hosts. Sally and Micheal are very knowledgeable and we used their knowledge in planning our trip in and around Normandy.  La Thiaumerie is a beautiful and quiet place, a great place to relax after a busy day visiting the sites of... An overnight stop for us on the way to southern france, First time here and would come back. Good night's sleep. Sally and Michael very freindly and helpfully booked us a table at a local restuarant, which was excellent. Hope to have timem one year to stay longer and explore the region. We stayed 2 nights in October. Sally and Michael gave us excellent suggestions for dining, and even made reservations for us. They are both English and French speakers, so we were grateful for that. They even loaned us maps of the Normandy region which helped us immensely, even though we had a GPS. A lovely place to stay. More

It was our first time at La Thiaumerie. Sally & Michael were most welcoming, the rooms were really comfortable, bed linen excellent as were the fluffy towels. Bed was really comfortable. We spent many a social hour in the bar which used to be the bakehouse! Sally & Michael helped to make our trip to Normandy enjoyable & we would... More

We stayed at La Thiaumerie for 2 nights in August and it was a lovely start and end to our holiday. Michael and Sally were wonderfully welcoming and we would definitely recommend this B&B to any of our friends. More

We stayed at La Thiaumerie for 3 nights after leaving Paris, for the start of our 7 week trip around France. This was a fantastic base to explore the area - it is out in the countryside in rolling hills, but only a short drive to the motorways to explore Mont St Michel, D-day beaches and Bayeux (definitely worth a... It was absolutely fantastic to stay with Sally & Michael for one night in August. Tucked away down a quaint country road, La Thiaumerie was the perfect place to stay for one night before exploring the D-Day sights near Utah Beach. Michael was helped us to chart a plan for sightseeing and we were also referred to a fantastic restaurant... More

Great location and great hosts. Quiet country setting close to most sites in Lower Normandy. We had no particular plans (spent 3 nights at La Thiaumerie) but soon found out that three nights are not nearly enough for both all the D-Day sites and other Normandy landmarks. Our hosts helped us organize our days, all the way to fabulous country... More

We had a wonderful relaxing time at La Thiaumerie. The guest house is within close reach to the nearby tourist attractions. The rooms were nice and clean, of good size and we all slept like babies. It is really quiet and tranquil out here. Sally and Mike were wonderful hosts. Very helpful and friendly. The pub is a very nice... More
