Our group stayed for 2 nights. Great hotel views of the canal. Great breakfast. Room 218 had bath/shower combo. Quiet room due to triple type windows Two things to fix: One the air /heat switch is above the door 13 feet high. Heat was not available. Internet is a pain in the rear. A d with a lot kf guests... Wanted to stay at a nice place while in Sete for a few nights on business. Was glad to find the hotel is just a short 15-minute walk from the train station. The lobby, atrium and all public areas of the hotel are very well done and maintained. The room was very enjoyable and well lit - although since the... More

Relaxed period hotel with some unique art pieces. Great restaurant and charming atrium..right on the canal and in the centre of town. The rail station is a short walk with connections to Montpelier. We visited in October, and whilst a little overcast, still warm, perfect for wandering around the town.

This is a great place to stay, the hotel is on the mail canal in Sete. There are very good restaurants in walking distance, the hotel has its own parking which is very useful in Sete. The most outstanding feature of the hotel is the central internal courtyard. The rooms are well appointed, clean and furnished in a typical French... More

Stayed here recently for 2 nights. Built in 1880, but with the decor largely from around 1920 this feels a bit like stepping back in time. The elegant central atrium is the main feature of the public areas with balconies of the 3 floors above from which rooms and landings are accessed. It is a relaxing place to have breakfast,... More

We had a canal side room which was a nice room with a balcony. The view from this side was excellent. I read some reviews complaining about street noise but we did not notice. (Maybe because we live in the city) The front desk was very helpful and spoke english. The breakfast was good and filling. We will stay here... More

Right on the main canal at Sete and close to everything. Very old fashioned place but rooms are fine. The rooms are on the outside of a central void with a square balcony on each floor that overlooks the ground floor. The ground floor is used for chilling, reading and breakfast. Daylight comes from a glass room to this area.... More

This felt a bit old school - like out of a poirot novel - but it oozed charm and grandeur - if a little past its best The room had a brilliant view over the grand canal and it is right next to the water jousting - get tickets to this from the tourist office - the staff are friendly... More

We stayed at the hotel for one night. It is beautifully decorated and the staff are very welcoming and helpful. Hotel is in a very convenient location for exploring the canals, shops and port at Sete. We did not eat in the hotel restaurant as there are a plethora of wonderful fish restaurants in Sete. However, the breakfast was good... More

Good hotel, ask for a room with a view on the canal, the best. Some rooms have no view at all, be careful (no lower price for those rooms, no information at booking). WI-FI is poor when hotel is full (not usable). Restaurant has limited seats so be careful to book if you want to have dinner there when the... More
