This is.a really pretty boutique hotel full of character. I stayed in a double room with en suite bathroom. There was plenty of space and it was really comfortable. The staff were friendly and helpful even giving me a running route to see the best parts of Galaxidi. The breakfast had to be seen to be believed - it was... More

Beautiful hotel in lovely style. Great new kitchen is at this moment in progress. The rooms are large and nice decorated. The Cooking workshop that the owner Chrisoula gave us: Spanikopitta was fun. And the Spanikopitta was good!! The next morning we had a breakfast with all kind of homemade marmelades, yoghurt, eggs, bread, toast, coffee and much more. It... More

We spend only one night, it was super! The triple room was great, very clean and cosy. We had the cooking workshop and made a fantastic spanakopita (spinache pie) which we ate with excellent wine! Chrisoula was a great host, and we loved the big variety at the breakfast table, with lots of traditional homemade food! SUPER!!!

Galaxeidi is a picturesque seaside town close to Athens, with maritime tradition appearing in every street corner. Ganimede’s is the best example of a family business with traditional roots. It is a captain's house with a courtyard, which gives you the feeling like entering a paradise back in time. I visited this Hotel twice this year. The first time, I... More

A truly remarkable experience in a place one should visit at least once a year. Galaxidi being a real jewel in Greece's crown, both during summer and winter time, Hotel Ganimede remains - after at least three decades - the best hotel in the area. Warm people, nice rooms, delicious breakfast, convenient location. You can even use that place as... More

A wonderful location where Greece speaks its secrets...Blue sky, blue sea, great mountains, extremely human sizes of houses, crossroads, people...The meaning of hospitality was always very strong for us...it is a point of internal exrerience...it has been prooved...and it has been signed...still visiting Galaxidi but also still choosing "Ganymedes" as a residance signifies full experience of Greek traditional hospitallity...family case...very... We were traveling in Greece for some time. The hospitality experienced at the Ganimede Hotel was outstanding and unprecedented. This is a family run hotel in a building that seems traditional to the respective region with lovely rooms, all is nicely decorated. It is very quiet as it is set apart from the street. The host and the personel are... More

Ganimede hotel is a little jewel inside the beautiful Greek sea village of Galaxidi. The rooms are cosy and clean, the staff friendly and helpful and the owner Chrisoula is perfect for her role, she is always present, smiling and willing to help and make you feel like home. To wake up and enjoy the famous rich and homemade breakfast... More

Lovely little hotel in a lovely, historical township. Travelled in late Autumn/Winter, so made good use of the fireplace. Had booked the suite which was spotlessly clean and well appointed for a longer stay with comfort. A 2 seater couch and a larger TV would have added to our stay during the wetter days. Breakfasts were truly wonderful. Chryisoula is... More
