A poor welcome which improved later in the evening. The setting of the manoir is spectacular. The room was very good and totally in keeping with an ancient building being both clean and comfortable. We keep coming back the Manoir du Riablay again and again. It is a great base for exploring the Loire chateaux, going on wine tours or just spending lazy days beside the swimming pool. The old manor is just a short walk from the village centre but is very peaceful and secluded and has plenty of historic charm. Dinners at... more
