This hotel is easy to find, in the back streets of the small, charming town of St Pol de Leon. It was clean and comfortable. The only criticisms were that there are no tea and coffee making facilities, the room was a little small and the shower was not connected to the wall, just draped over the taps in the... More

We arrived fairly late to discover a mistake had been made with our booking through booking.com the manageress very quickly found a child's bed for us and profusely apologised that it may not be comfortable. A very friendly welcome and a good clean hotel with adequate rooms and lots of hot water

Grandpa Nanna two granddaughters and out pet cat stayed here on our way back to UK. We had trouble getting the cat back to uk, the lady owner and a female member of staff could not do enough to help us and resolve our problem. We have stayed here before and found it to be a very good stop over,... More

I don't want to be negative, especially because our everyone was friendly and helpful. However I am going to be honest and say that this hotel is in need of some tender, loving care, especially given that the cost is up there with 3 star hotels. We stayed for one night and the room was basic which is fine for... More

Hotel de France in St. Pol de Leon is a lovely place to stay; friendly, comfortable and central in the heart of a charming town. The family room that we had was ideal with separate sleeping area for the children.

Beautiful exterior and old world - if sparse/basic- interior. Comfortable room on 2nd floor with sea view. Perfectly adequate for overnight stay en route to / from ferry. Insufficient hot water in shower in the morning - possibly due to hotel being full. Pleasant receptionist.

Lovely place to stay, it was clean, airy, relaxed and welcoming atmosphere. We stayed here 4 years ago and the same pleasant lady greeted us. Breakfast was good it's great when you get your own pot of coffee served to your table. A fine example of French hospitality.

Anovernight stay while we met up with my son and his family (wife + 5 & 3 year old daughters) after they arrived on the ferry to Roscoff. Had booked 2 triple rooms. It turned out the third bed in each room was a pull out single from under the main double bed, so they didn't leave much floor space.... More

My wife and i stayed at this hotel, with our two children for one night, whilst travelling through France on a driving holiday. We stayed in the family "room" (room 200 i think), which consisted of a separate converted barn, away from the main accomodation, with a downstairs sleeping area, and a ricketty old wooden spiral staircase leading up to...
