My wife and I stayed here for a week at the beginning of May.Despite various negative reviews, decided it was worth overlooking the negatives for the positives. After google earthing Menorca,I saw a great big sandy stretch with this hotel on it and you can literally stride onto the beach from the hotel. The sea was a tad cold as were the pools... more

Normally go to Cyprus but fancied a 2hr flight for a change. Booked this hotel for its location, being directly on the beach & was not disappointed. The beach is excellent, with gorgeous sand which slopes gently into the sea, ideal for families with young kids, but it has to be said that the waves can get a bit rough... more

this was not our usual choice of hotel we ended up here due to being booked to fly with xl. this hotel is really only recommended for families with young children or adults that just love the flintsones and we dont fall into either of those groups. we have to admit the hotel is on a wonderful beach and our... more

My friend and I were due to visit Egypt a week ago last friday, but due to the XL fiasco we didnt get to. We were already at the airport and didnt want to return home. We booked a trip with Thomas Cook and flew out 3 hrs later. We had no idea where we were going or what to... more

I stayed at this hotel for a week in June, and I came home completely depressed at the fact that I couldn't stay longer. The hotel, like our room, was spacious and well laid out. Despite having a Flinstones theme, I'd still recommend this hotel to older friends and couples who would like a relaxing holiday. The shower was excellent,... more

I have just got back from this hotel after spending a short 4 day break here, on half board. The hotel is ok for the beach, as it is situated just a stones throw away from the golden sand and the shallow sea. I am afraid that this is the only thing good about the hotel. The rooms are very... more

I travelled with my boyfriend to menorca in June this year and stayed in sol milanos pinguinos hotel. This hotel was lovely and we both had a great time. The hotel itself was clean and tidy and most of the staff's English was ok. The rooms were of average size, plenty big enough for 2 people, each room had an... more

Location of the hotel is great. Right on the beach and the restaurants and shops are all on the doorstep. Not too far from the airport and only 2 hours on the plane. The hotel was full of families with young kids which made life easier at meal times. The food is OK at best. Breakfasts are the best. Most... more
