Just returned from two great weeks at Costa Mar. Couldn't fault the staff very helpful and cheerful. Maid service was great, rooms very clean just a few small bugs in bath in the morning that got flushed away. went to the costa mar on sept 09 its ok if you dont expect to much the rooms could be doing with an apgrade but they are clean keep the plugs in the bath or you may get a couple of visitors the staff are friendly enough there are alot of cats around thats ok if you like cats thers... more

The rooms were bigger than i thought they would be and they were very clean and kept clean by the very good maids.NO a/c in the rooms so you need to leave the windows open a little or you will never sleep.We went h/b so didnt use the kitchen except the fridge to keep water and pop. this was our second year coming to Costa Mar. Although, not the hotels fault it was apparent that the credit crunch has hit them badly and the surrounding businesses. However, the appartments were agin spotless and the staff were extremely courteous when we needed help and advice. Good: Close to beach. Close to tackiness of Puerto Del Carmen but also far enough away. Nice staff. Big rooms. Great Beach. Decent and cheap restaurants nearby (try Olas). Just back after 2 weeks at this hotel. It was brilliant. Eddie was the best kids entertainer I have met and worked from 10 in the morning till 1130 at night entertaining the kids. we ate out every day and I could not recommend higher the OLAS restaurant on the seafront just in front of the hotel, they looked after... more

This Hoilday was Unreal. it has Everything you Need.! Eddie the animation director is So Great Thee Pool is clean and Warm soo its Grand. Good location, magnificent view, very close to the beach, good food. Small restaurant, unfriendly waiters, bugs in the room, rooms not cleaned enough, old style furniture and worst of all cleaning personnel are stealing from the rooms (money and clothes). more
