I was a solo guest with mobility problems. Although the hotel does not have rooms adapted for disabilities, the baths were quite low and there were ramps everywhere throughout the hotel. My husband and I stayed in La Geria on our honeymoon in March. The location was excellent as the nightlife was a short taxi run away (cost about 4 euro) and it meant that there wasn't the same noise at night. The staff were friendly and helpful at all times. We had one of the most uncomfortable plane journeys of my life! I've concluded that if you book through Portland Direct, say no to "extras" ie paying to sit together, in flight meals (they always smell like dog food) etc, as a penance, you are given the seats in front of the lavatory! Reception staff were notably efficient and friendly both at check-in and check-out. Similarly the restaurant staff were cheerfully helpful.
