Not bad..not good..a dated 1980s ageing hotel.Staff are very very good.Buffet breakfast is decent and plentiful.Rooms..are just that ..rooms..Matresses need changing..no coffee or tea facilities in room..no mini bar..no life guard at pool (lots of kids).Prices for dri ks are NOT appropriate..just a 2 minute walk to local shops and bars will save a family a nice sum of money.Hotel... This is quite standard Spanish hotel. Honestly speaking I would rank it as good 3* with some addons (like wifi). Hotel looks very well kept. A lot of paintings and old furniture/accessories- worth to go across all floors and see them. Playground is big and good- well situated a bit behind hotel in shadow. Rooms are OK, fridge is available... More

I have been coming to this hotel since I was little and it has been inproving. The tv's must be changed but it doesn't matter a lot because you don't come to this hotel to watch tv, you come to enjoy the sun and the beach

We spent in this hotel 3 days during June '14. Reception cordial, but confusion on tariffs as booked through Booking.com and that generated similar discussion at check out, but all was resolved according to 'as booked'. Personnel in general friendly and service oriented Nice bar close to pool area especially ok for the evening Common areas spacious and so the... More

Unfortunately our booking partly collided with a youth soccer cup and we ended up sharing hotel with a hundred boys age 10-14. Impossible to get into the pool, extremely noisy. This of course is bad luck. However, the fact that it's supposed to be quiet in the hotel after 22 yet they play LOUD music until midnight isn't. And the... More

The breakfast was decent, and the hotel was clean. But I think when you go to a two star hotel your looking for a good room not a first class diner.!! Fairly clean rooms, amazing staff. I would suggest this place to those that are looking to have a good time. Downtown Calafell, when they say it, they mean it.... More

This was our second visit to this hotel. It was just as good this time as our previous visit. We had a room overlooking the pool with two huge king size beds. The Reception staff were excellent and very helpful. Our comments are pretty much as our previous review. The food this time was very good and it was a... More

We really enjoyed our c stay here, and couldn't really hear the trains at all and they certainly b didn't keep us up. Very clean big rooms. Only criticisms - shower curtain wasnt long enough and floor got wet with every shower and ran out of juice and milk at breakfast, people were having cereal using milk from the hot... More

as other people have said this hotel should be listed as a 3star. it definitely is not a four star. we were a family of 5 (2 ad 3 kids aged 13,10 & 6 ). we stayed for a week at the end of July. Our booking had said "pool view" but we got a room facing to the street.... More

This very nice hotel fronts onto the railway, with an adjacent station , with frequent connections to Barcelona. Advise ensuring a room at the back of the hotel ,overlooking the pool, which is quieter at night. The hotel is about 120 m from the marvellous beach ( wide, flat and sandy, stretching for miles) ( whoops ..kms ! ).The public rooms were...
