Stayed here in September; it was our fifth visit in as many years. We were greeted as family,in fact I heard the receptionist telling the manager that 'they are family'. We had booked a double room but were upgraded to a bungalow in the grounds without having to ask. As ever the hotel was spotlessly clean everywhere. It has nice... More

Very lovely Hotel. Amazing placing, felt like a dream place. The beach is literally down the steps from the hotel. it's a very quiet place, suitable for couples that look for a retreat. best place if you are looking for a holiday to relax and get away from the noisiness of everyday life.

Beautifully situated right across from the sandy beach with just a fairly quiet road in between, the hotel consists of a series of blocks of rooms and bungalows around the swimming pool and gardens. Friendly informality is the order of the day. All the staff are really friendly and helpful and seem really pleased that you are staying at the... More

We spent a fantastic fortnight at the Xaloc during the second two weeks of August. This was the third time we have stayed at the Xaloc although the first time there were four of us ! We travelled with our nine year old daughter and fourteen month old daughter. Having stayed at the Xaloc before we knew exactly what to... More

A very clean 3 * hotel, we had a 1st Floor room overlooking the Pool. Very friendly, though the male receptionist (The Man in Black) seemed a bit of a grump pot as we would very often walk past without him even acknowledging us or anyone else for that matter. Almost as bad was the fellow at the checkout in... More

This is an outstanding little family-run hotel with quite possibly the friendliest bunch of hard-working staff that I've ever come across. Even the hideous manners of the jostling German tourists who infest the dining room at meal-times and who would surely be more at home eating out of troughs, fail to dampen their spirits! I want so much to give... More

On arrival we were met with a reception area that was bright, very clean and welcoming. The lady on reception was excellent, she went through all the routines breakfast etc (and could have done it in any number of languages). Throughout our stay she was a constant source of information and as with all the staff we came across nothing was... More
