We were so looking forward to staying at School Cottages, as all previous reviews were so encouraging, and we were not disappointed. Everything was perfect. After a long flight from Australia, it was so nice to be welcomed into the 2 bedroom cottage with the fire roaring and even a gorgeous Christmas tree. Our 5 nights were so comfortable, and... more

Our third trip to Bath, and third stay with Tim and Nigel at School Cottages. The fantastic standards have not faltered, it is everything you could want from a B & B. Located just a short drive out of Bath, it is well placed to take advantage of the town, and surrounding areas. This time, we took a drive to... more

We booked our stay on the strength of the reviews on here, and I'm so glad we did. I absolutely loved School Cottages. It's a beautiful house in a very pretty village, well located for Bath, Wells and Glastonbury (we went to all three). It has been so well renovated, with classic, high quality features and furniture throughout. Great power... more

I stayed here for 2 nights to attend a wedding at Priston Mill and along with all the other reviews it was a lovely stay. A comfy bed (needed after a flight from Tobago), fantastic shower, a really tasty breakfast and a gorgeous garden. My only negative comment would be that they don't accept credit/switch cards! I would definitely stay... more

The warm welcome and service that I received at School cottages was the best we have ever experienced. From the moment we arrived and took tea on the lawn to the time we had to relunctantly leave, we trully felt spoilt. Brilliant hosts and home produced food (fresh eggs, jam and local meat) Rooms were beautifully decorated and spotless. Bed... more

The fact that I didn’t want to leave this B&B says it all. Quite simply, the most beautiful place I’ve had the pleasure to stay in. The room was extremely well decorated, stylish and most importantly comfortable. The bathroom was a great size and both it and the bedroom were always spotlessly clean. The refreshment tray was refilled daily with... more

My partner and I are in agreement that this is one of the most friendly, helpful, and beautiful B&B's we have stayed in - THe breakfasts were top notch!! The rooms were spacious, modern and always brilliantly clean. Our hosts could not have been more helpful and were able to recommend things to visit and places to eat (some wonderful... more

I stayed two nights at this wonderful B&B, the night before my wedding at nearby Priston Mill and the night of the wedding. The rooms were beautiful, the gardens idyllic and the breakfast fantastic. I got ready for the wedding at the B&B and our hosts were extremely accommodating. Tim (our host) even kept my nervous dad supplied with cups... more

Just returned from an amazing three nights stay. The rooms are immaculately decorated, spotlessly clean and very comfortable. The three course breakfast was excellent. Tim and Nigel were very friendly and helpful without being intrusive. Excellent place to stay for visiting Bath and surrounding area. Highly recommend it. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and will definitely return. Carol & Terry... more
