Very good value for the price. Basic accommodation, but nice and clean, perfect to stay overnight or longer. Take a room with river view or even terrace. Very nice owner, who will serve you modest but tasty breakfast in the morning.

Our room was a 3 bed and it was around $100, 000 dong per person. The owner is extremely nice and helpful(although his english isn't the best)! There aren't many tourists in Dong Hoi- most seem to be just passing through. As a result, most of the population doesn't quite seem to know what to do when a tourist shows up in their store or restaurant.
