Wuzhen is certainly an experience not to be missed as there are not many places in the world where you can stay in an ancient village (Wuzhen has been a river side village since 872 AD) as a guest of the owners! It has its drawbacks as Wuzhen has become a massive tourist destination since its re- development 10 years... More

Getting into the guest house was a little of a hassle. First you need to check in at the tourist service centre, and get the conceirge to pick up the luggage from the bus, which was parked some distance away. Then you need to queue to take a ferry across, after which you need to walk 5min or more, depending... More

Staying one night in the Wu Zhen Xi Zha is a great way to enjoy the ancient water town experience especially during evening and morning (before 8am) as during these time there will be less tourists. They provide a very Clean Room with average service & simple breakfast. As this is not a 3 / 4 star hotel so overall... More

My son and i satyed in one of the guest houses in Wuzhen the second night we were there. It was very good, rooms are clean and confortable ( a little bit small for our western standarts) but that was not a problem. The price was excellent and so was the food! I highly recomend it!!

We stayed at this Guest Housel as part of a 13 day tour of China. The rooms are very well done in classic Chinese style. If you are looking for a comfortable bed though, "Forget It." I am sure it was just a piece of slate with a sheet and a quilt thrown on it. They seriously need to re-... More

In West Wuzhen, there is a network of guesthouses run by local people, with a centralized booking system, and offering similar service and quality. It is very well organized - you check in and drop off your bag, take the ferry, and then you are reunited with your bag at your guesthouse. My room was very simple but very well... More

This is really something special. The hotel has rooms in different house all over the west old city area. Everything is very well organized. It is like you stay with a local family yet everything very luxurious. The family can cook for you. Not too expensive and one of the best meals I had in China. I would everybody who... More

Since staying over will allow us to view a very different wuzhen at night and a tourist free town in the morning, we decide to have two nights there. This bed and breakfast is actually central managed hotel service but spread across uniquely different "houses" allow the streets of Wuzhen water town. Do note each room of the same class... More

We Choose a family suite of three bedrooms behind the alley coz the waterfront rooms were all sold out.. I would prefer the rooms overlooking canal and should book a week or two earlier to ensure to get the good location rooms. I would like to try the Wuzhen Clubhouse to get more quiet ambience with surrounding garden. The noise... More

Wuzhen Guest House is a centralised collection of guest houses. We booked a Sishui twin Room A overlooking the canal. The room was on the 1st floor, spacious and comfortable. The bathroom was clean with good shower facilities. The family who ran the guest house did not speak English and we communicated with a smart phone translator. The whole family... More
