I stayed here last year in the month of May. This is situated near a sleepy hamlet - Martam in Sikkim. Farms and village walks can be explored easily from here. Rustic charm at its best. They serve fresh organic food. Ideal for a 24 hour stay.

Stayed at Martam Village Resort overnight in a chalet. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Enjoyed an early morning walk through the village and surrounds. Quite remote and very pretty. Wonderful vista of terraced gardens.

A wonderful little hideaway tucked in on the side of a hill. Surrounded by gardens and farmland. Mornings are beautiful with the mists showering down the hillsides. Birds galore. Restaurant, bar are excellent. Good local fare. Tourist buffets are what you would expect. Good, simple food. A little bland, but designed to keep the tourist healthy and full.

Remote and few frills, this is a good place to visit in the spring or summer, but would probably be too cold in the winter. It's suitable for adventure travelers who want to get away from it all and have some peaceful time with nature and a village.
