The price of this lodging is not expensive at 2500 rupee a night but the internet rarely works and you have to climb about 4 flights of stairs to a beautiful roof top to determine if it does. The location is in a neighborhood far from most places to eat and play but only 2 short blocks to the beach.... More

Patricia's Guest house is located in the French quarter and just behind the Aurobindo Ashram; it's a street away from the sea and the promenade. One can walk from one end of the French Quarter to the other very comfortably. The house is charming and filled with antiques and bric a brac; one needs to be careful not to knock... More

This was my second visit to Pondicherry, and after a lot of recommendations I thought this time I must stay at Patricia's. Located in the French Quarters, it is quaint and done up in nice and tasteful interiors. You feel like you have stepped into another world, which is quiet and beautiful. The rooms are nice and clean, and the... More

We had a wonderful stay at Patricia Guest House. We were made very welcome by all the staff and felt quite at home. The breakfasts are lovely and there's plenty of it.Our room was on the first floor and we found it very quiet and spotlessly clean with fresh towels and the room serviced every day. There's a lovely roof top terrace where... patricia Guesthouse is situated in the so called White Town, or French quarter, the unusually quiet and tranquil part of the city. it's a lovely building, two streets away from the Aurobindo Ashrama, a shot away from the sea front. Very colorful - bright colors everywhere - furnished with taste with antiques (the minimalists might find it a bit cluttered),... More

Should be your first choice for a homestay at Pondicherry. Patricia and her troupe of assistants make great hosts. Located in the French part of Pondicherry, you can walk down to Nehru Street, Mission Street or the promenade anytime and just hop into the Aurobindo AShram which is just in the lane behind. The suite on the 2nd floor has... More

And go for the suite because you get a swing in your room and a lovely little balcony. Wonderfully colourful, great location, personal touches, great value for money (breakfast is not included by the way but they provide it for 200 Rs per head) Mosquito nets already provided so you don't have to think of ways to suspend your net.... We had booked two nights here and had to change our plans twice due to unforeseen circumstances. Olivier was very accommodating and understanding despite our changes. We had a charming room on the first floor with a private bathroom outside the room. This was not at all inconvenient and the room was colorful and full of beautiful antiques. The outdoor... More

Rooms were booked with a few phone calls to Oliver, we arrived later than expected but the warmth, brightness, colorful and historical home of Patricia and Oliver just made us forget the tiredness and humidity of Pondi. Large rooms, high ceilings with AC and fans, attached baths and comfy beds. Felt like walking about in a museum !! The guest... More
