wow...... a memorable stay with family. We stayed there for couple of days and we had the best time as expected. we just had real time of DIP & DINE concept stay. Huge swimming pool and clean ambiance with lush green lawns around with a amazing lake of 5 acres. Simply the best holiday spot.

+ 2 hours away from chennai. Well ahead of Pondy and hence who traffic + new propery. Lot of water bodies inside the hotel + good facilities, choices of rooms. The hotel seemed older than it was. It was built only in 2010 but seemed older because of some repairs needed. Perhaps it was the effects of the very hot sun on the wooden walkways (missing some wooden tiles) or the high turnover (responsible for the worn and scratched interiors of the rooms). Two families stayed there. Nice property. The view from Room balcony is excellent. Neatly maintained. Friendly staff. The swimming pool was big and maintained well. To approach the beach , we have to walk five minuites, through a village road,which was disappointing. Breakfast was complimentary and average. Lunch and dineer was expensive for the quality of the food they serve.

Month of May might be off season to visit Pondicherry but Ocean Spray is definitely an all weather place. I wish they had private beach but it is well compensated by pool and gardens.
