Me and a bunch of friends chose to stay in les hibiscus solely due to the tripadvisor reviews. We were more than surprised to see that this tiny hotel is one of the best decisions we made for our trip! The hotel is remarkably clean (trust me when I say clean coz I have an OCD!), beautifully designed and extremely... More

This place is advertised as Old Charm Guest House. It is exactly that, very french colonial, and very peaceful and quiet. The rooms are very spacious and well appointed with Air Con, fans and some period furniture, and good quality sleep is assured. A sumptious and filling breakfast is offered. With easy access to places of interest in both the... More

A beautiful old French colonial house furnished in the original style and having many pretty/quirky features. There is a small selection of rooms so the place feels cosy and staff are exceptionally friendly and helpful. Breakfast is delicious and in the pleasant surroundings it's hard to leave the table and get on with the day's tour. I loved French Pondicherry... More

Enjoyed a very pleasant stay. Friendly staff, Fresh breakfast, Great location - close to the Ashram, cosy cafes around, walking distance to the sea and yet very quiet. The interiors are beautifully done in old word Tamilian charm. Also very safe for solo travelers. Staff were very helpful in arranging local transport and in helping with other general touristy questions.... More

We decided to book Les Hibiscus after reading good reviews on tripadvisor and I am glad that we selected this property for our holidays in Pondicherry. It is located on a very quiet street; rooms are big, airy and very clean. It feels like living in a home rather than Hotel or Guest house. I really liked the furniture and... More

Les Hibiscus is a perfect choice for a stay in the French Quarter of Pondicherry. Small and very peaceful with lovely rooms and an amazing breakfast It is very welcoming. Mr Bascarane is kind ,helpful and is genuinely interested in his guests. He and his lovely staff were a significant part of my wonderful stay in Pondicherry .

This place was a perfect retreat to relax and enjoy Puducherry. The room and bathroom were spacious and beautifully furnished. Breakfast was served in beautiful surroundings looking out through lovely french doors. The husband and wife went out of their way to help us arrange transport to our next destination. Would definitely stay here again with no hesitation.
