Pink Walls under shades of pretty pink bougainvilleas, it's a budget stay in the French part of the town. Quiet and cool with lots of green on its terrace and balcony, it provides for a peaceful stay. The rooms are air-conditioned, clean and nice albeit nothing extravagant. Their kitchen wasn't functional during my stay. Very close to the sea, located... More

The location is excellent, on a pretty and quiet street very close to a number of cafés and bars as well as the sea front. The room was rustic but clean with a small balcony and TV (with BBC world service). It was nicely furnished and a nice place to come home to after a day exploring the local area.... More

The hotel is average, but our experience was made terrible by the extremely unpolite behaviour of the manager. We were proposed a price by the empolyee who received us at night and, at the moment of leaving, the manager by phone denied that tariff, raising it by 300 rupees, saying he was not responsible of what his own (HIS OWN!!)... I wish Trip Advisor had another rating option of 'good' that is somewhere between 'average' and 'very good', because that is what i would wish to rate this place as. I had stayed for one night at this place with my husband and my mother in October, 2008 - the location is simply excellent with everything (restaurants, boutiques, antique shops)... More

It was a comfortable room with a clean bathroom. Had air-conditioning and water heater. A little difficult to find at first, but was a good stay. Walking distance to the promenade and restaurants nearby. Worth 1500 rupees per night. Would definitely go back for a stay :)

Well its called the french villa but except the look, there is nothing french about it. However the rooms are good enough for a good night sleep and is close to the beach road. Dint eat there, thecrestaurnt is kinda tiny. Good for a low budget weekend travel.

The location of the Hotel is quite nice. It’s a 2 minute walk from The Promanede Beach at Pondicherry. The Cafe Xo at the ground floor of the hotel, serves Pan Asia cuisines, which are all set to tingle the taste buds of food buffs. It serves right from delicious salads to steaks. The rooms are small yet nicely decorated... More

I got the shock of my life when I reached the hotel which was very very small. Although they allowed me to check-in early as I reached at around 6, but the room that they showed me first was very small with an even smaller bed, it was only after a little persuasion I got a room which was slightly...
