If you are looking for a classic warm, friendly pub, with great beers, and lovely home cooked food, then the Raven is absolutely top class, one of the finest pubs that I know. We now visit this pub regularly on either a Thursday (curry night) or Friday night (fish and chips night), but we have also visited on Saturday and... More

We booked a room just for the one night, staff and everyone we met were very friendly. Very well kept, clean King studio. Our dog was made very welcome, sorry to the lady with the setter that our dog was not quite so friendly back. Food was great value, service good a great area outside for watching the village go... Was treated to a pre birthday meal here by my family. I had the fruity chicken Korma, it had tiny baby tomatoes and cashew nuts in it. It was delicious, fresh and hot. Service was excellent and the staff were very friendly. I will defiantly be visiting again and will recommend to my friends

We stopped here for lunch as part of a lovely walk in the area. The staff were could not have been more friendly, charming and helpful, and the food was fantastic; a sunday roast of welsh lamb, served with beautifully cooked vegetables, followed by fab sticky toffee pudding and a pavlova. All home made, absolutely delicious and well presented. the weather... More

As an Australian on holiday, I was delighted to come across this wonderful pub, tucked away in a picturesque village in the Vale of Clwyd. I loved the concept of a community run pub. Food was fantastic, as was the friendly service. The slow cooked beef pie was one of the tastiest I have ever had and the veg were... More

Set in a quiet village and run by the Community we were really pleased to have found this Inn. Had a nice friendly welcome and the room itself was spotless, cosy and well equiped for self-catering. Sadly we missed dining there as the chef has Wednesday night off, but the community shop a few doors down was well-equiped and had... More

Last Sunday I was invited to a 'birthday' lunch at the Raven. I was really looking forward to it as I've been to this fabulous pub on a number of occasions. It was a party of 19, no mean feat for a chef to accommodate. Well the meal was wonderful, you would not get a better Sunday lunch anywhere. We... More

This pub is run by the local community and prides itself on it's great local produce and fantastic selection of locally brewed ales.
