My husband and I stayed at the Arona Gran for a week half board in April/May 09 and had a really relaxing holiday. We arrived at the airport after a trouble free flight with Thomson’s but had to wait over an hour for the bus which took us to the hotel. Although the journey was meant to take 15mins it... more

Stayed at the Arona Gran for 1 week 28th April to 5th May half board - breakfast and evening meals were the best i've expeienced in Tenerife / Spain & I've been to quite a few similar hotels but this one beats them all by a mile, key card is used for everything i.e drinks at the bar / snacks... more

My wife and i were after a chill out holiday for our first wedding aniversary and that is exactly what we got. The hotel is impressive in appearance, good quality and freindly staff. It was mainly elderly people so not recomended if you want to party the night away but the benefit of this is you have no problems getting... more

I stayed at this hotel for one week in April 2009. Me and my partner are in our late twenties and extremely disappointed to find out that the nearest decent beach is at least a 30 min walk. We did rent a car and in our case we sorted the problem out as we travelled accross the island to experiment... more

After recently arriving back from this beautiful hotel (24.04.09), I had to write a review. I had read alot of reviews all with mixed opinions, which you would expect as we all have different tastes. Things like "being woken by the boats horn as they enter/leave the harbour" & the "staff not being so friendly".....Watching the boats coming & going... more

My wife and I stayed here 7th - 14th April 2009 on a half board basis. Normally we dont do half board as we enjoy eating out in different restaurants each evaning. We were happy to forefit 3 or 4 of the evening meals so we could do this. However the food in the hotel was really good. The buffet... more

Badly needing sun, peace and quiet, and a break we approached this large hotel with caution! It had good reviews. We were not disappointed. Our room on the top floor looked out to sea towards the island of La Gomera over the harbour with a completely private balcony. There was no need to leave the hotel as everything was there... more

I will start this with one negative I went with 3 other ppl aged 19-26 and this hotel is not for the young. The hotel has everything that you could ask for great Location, Food, Gym, Library, Pools. The hotel rooms were very spacious with great balcony. Pools fantastic apart from one was nearly always empty yet that was the... more
