We spent a week at the Arona Gran in June 2009 on a half board basis. We arrived at the hotel and were greeted by a very friendly bell-boy who took our cases and directed us to the reception desk so we could check-in. It was Fab From the Checking in to Paying the Bill at the end of the Holiday it was great .& even though they say not to save Chairs at the pool side ,we all had a great laugh at all the older folk (stampede) at 8am when the pool opened ,Saving their Poolside Chairs ,& Yet the have plenty... more

You cannot fault the hotel and staff, the rooms are very clean, staff very friendly, the pools are superb.......the downfall in my case was that the beach by the hotel was very stoney, there is graffiti on the walls by the beach, you need to walk about 20 minuites to get to the nearest sandy beach. This hotel was recommended by a friend and we were not disappointed. Would definitely like to visit the hotel again, maybe next year. Staff very attentive, service good, food very good, overall a fabulous holiday to remember. Was so impressed I emailed the hotel direct to thank them. more
