I have stayed her a few times now over the years after suffering other places in town. The location is perfect right alongside the river and the rooms are large airy and for me have always been clean. I like the fact there is a door that leads to a balcony which is a nice place to sit at night... More

If you are in this town you have 4 hotels to choose from, this is the cheapest so you get what you pay for. The rooms are fine if you get one with a view of the Mekong. Watch the sunrise from your balcony and then move on to the next town where you will probably complain about something else

This hotel is located right on the Mekong River. The deluxe rooms are a good place to watch the sun set over the river. The receptionist is very helpful. There are lots of places to eat nearby. I chose a room at the back of the hotel with a fan. Not too noisy. Good for the price

It's an average hotel for Southeast Asia but for 13 AUD a night you can't expect much. I only stayed one night and I locked my bag when I went out and had no problems. Had a decent view over the Mekong from the balcony so that was good. It's easy to find your way back when exploring the town... More

We stopped here as part of a Geckos tour. The room was filthy, there was mouse droppings all over the floor and window, the pillows were old and brown, the bathroom was just plain nasty. I asked for a new room, it took them thee go's to find a room that didnt smell or was 'clean'. In the end myself... More

As previous reviewers say it is a rather odd hotel, we were told it was built as a hospital but was never put into service. I had a room on the 2nd floor with a balcony overlooking the Mekong river, which I found rather pleasant. The bathroom was adequate. I slept quite well. I chose to have breakfast at a... More

The interior of this hotel is massive, and reminds me of a prison (not that I've ever been in prison!), or a school. Our room was on the second floor, with a balcony and a view over the legendary Mekong River. How cool is that? The door to the balcony wouldn't close properly, but at least there was a bolt... More

This place would have been fine if it wasn't for the smell! Our room had a weird damp/stale smell... The bathroom smelt very strongly of wee. I don't know if it was coming from the shower drain or the stained toilet but it was so bad I brushed my teeth on the balcony to avoid going in there. The fan... More
