The beaches within 2 minutes walk are the best we saw. Hammocks and parasol €13.50 as even in September regularly 30°. Beautiful clear water, fine sand, gentle waves and nudists. Yup, surprisingly tolerant here. Don't knock it till you've tried it either. The meals in the hotel are rotated on a weekly basis and except for one grumpy chef on... More

I stayed at the hotel for 2 weeks and have to say that there has been pros and cons. First of all the room was very big and beautiful. And clean. The change of sheets and towels was happening regularly every 2 days but the maids were not cleaning the room which was a bit odd (only making beds). The... More

From a location perspective, the resort is conveniently situated in the Jandía stretch and easily accessible, nice, and quiet. Very reasonably priced for such a location. The hotel itself is stylish, pretty and immaculately clean.

Stayed in the Esmeralda Maris Bungalows for one week. Just what I wanted, peace and quiet abd away from the hustle and bustle of a busy resort. The complex is at the end of the resort with just empty land between you and the sea. Not suitable for anyone with walking difficulties or needing to use a wheelchair/pushchair. Lots of... More

Stayed here for a couple of days to get down to warmer climes away from the cold winds in El Cotillo, hoping to get warmed up in the spa. I will add that we got a very cheap half board rate on alpharooms.com. Otherwise I would have considered it overpriced. Their website wasn't working for bookings where you are supposed... More

We spent 8 nights here this month and found the hotel and service very good. The staff were very cheerful and always willing to help. The air conditioning was very poor and even in October the rooms were hot. The downside was the cost of the safes in the rooms, and the bars shut at midnight. There was very little... More

Pros: This hotel is best suited for people looking for silence (at night) and speaking German. Cons: This Hotel, built in 2002, falls appart slowly but surely into a ruin. Tiles are sometimes broken or loose around the pool or in pathways. Pieces of walls ar falling off. I even discovered near the restaurant a ceiling damaged by water leaks... More

We were pleasantly surprised by the size of our bungalows. We had a large kitchen diner with seating area incl. TV and telephone, a massive bathroom with bathtub including a powerful shower, large bedroom with larger than usual comfy beds, 2 terraces of which one was to the outside and the other like a little courtyard to the inside. The... More

Ingrid and Carlos very helpful. internet worked well in room, 5 euros a day. Lovely sandy beach 10 min walk, cloths optional, safe swimming, sea a bit cold... More

We booked a self catering apartment in this hotel to act as a base for a birdwatching holiday. The resort is largely used by Germans and Italians and English was not widely spoken. The apartment was a really good size, clean and comfortable apart from the sofa which was far from comfortable. The hotel is right on the edge of... More
