Lovely big rooms overlooking nice grounds or with decent sea views, the food was the usual mix of Chicken Fish and Pork which was recycled in various ways to use it up along with the standard range of salad, veg and fruit, the deserts also were the usual spanish fare, i felt some nice gateau, pavlova, cheesecake or crumble would... The hotel was pleasant because the rooms were decent and clean, the facilities sufficient, and the staff friendly (most of them spoke some German, which is good because 95% of the guests are). As vegans, we did have real trouble with the food offerings. There were no dedicated vegetarian options at all, such as food with meat replacements, or soya... More

Fairly typical concrete box hotel with rooms in the main building and blocks of apartments dotted around the extensive grounds. What potential visitors need to be aware of is the fact that the hotel is populated almost exclusively be German holiday makers. This was not a problem for us but not only were we to only British guests we were... More

We stayed here for a week with a group of friends (were invited to a wedding). The food is ok and the beer really good. I'd recommend getting an AI package. It means you can poor your own beer :-) I was a big fan of the Mojito. The rooms are spacious. We had a suite with two queen sized... More

Just returned from another relaxing week in Fuertaventura. We stayed in the Esquinzo Beach in October and we returned for some February sunshine. The Manager was everywhere, checking standards and listening to the guests - most impressive. The staff are excellent and the range of international cuisine is exquisite and of the highest quality.Highly commendable - worth another review to recognise... The Hotel guests are mainly German and the cuisine reflects the client base. The food was high quality but not your standard English offer. The international dimension was refreshing, combining a relaxing holiday with a cultural experience. The Hotel staff were friendly and the quality of English was variable but it was not a problem. The Hotel bars had a lovely ambience of... More

Stayed here in June and had a quite different experience to the previous reviewer. Yes, the hotel is 99% German, but the vast majority of guests were really friendly and courteous and the hotel reception staff spoke excellent English and were extremely helpful - and yes, along with all other new arrivals, we got a glass of cava on arrival.... I have been at the hotel in May 2011 to celebrate my bithday and have spent a week together with my parents. We have had two rooms and both of them have had a good size. The rooms were in the main building, close to the pool. As soon as I speak Spanish it is always a benefit, because it... More

We stayed here twice in 2011. The food was good, the staff, in the main, were friendly, however the peak times in the restaurant can be a bit frantic and difficult to get the waiters' attention, particularly if you are staying all inclusive. We stayed in the bungalows which is the main reason we returned as they are very spacious,... More
