My Fiancee and I stayed at the Aegean Village the first two weeks of July. I read lots of reviews before leaving which were mixed so thought I would put my two pennith in! The hotel itself is very nice, the reception area and restaurants/ bars are a little dated but still nice open pleasant areas. A lot of people... more

Unlike a lot of hotels where they're either suited for older couples; young groups of friends; or families, this hotel is suitable for all. It had a good mix of age ranges and parties. The hotel is situated far enough from the main town (Kardemena) for you not to be disturbed by the noisy British youngsters who inhabit it, but... more

Stayed at Phillippos Apartments, which were small but clean and good value for money. Nice pool and poolside Bar There are some nice little beaches, and if you buy a breakfast at most of the beachfront resteraunts they give you free use of their sunbeds, very freindly place, travelled round the whole island and found some really beautiful beaches, more... more

This is a nice hotel on a hillside built to look like a little greek village. Luckily it is well out of the way of the loud, brash town of Kardamena although it is in walking distance (about 30 minutes). It was neccesary to walk there to catch a bus to more interesting places, like Kos town. The hotel room... more

Just returned from a fabulous week at the Aegean Village. The swimming pool was great with plenty of sun loungers (though this was early june). The food was excellent. The range of foods on offer was good and the quality was the best I have ever had in a hotel. The entertainment team were not the best but their enthusiasm... more

The Aegean Village is a beautiful resort. Great buffets for both breakfast and dinner and a lovely pool area. Staff skills were high but a couple lacked customer service skills or language skills and therefore came across quite rude. The hotel has lots of facilities, but on arrival you arent given any information about them or their whereabouts. You have... more

I have just got back from staying in the Aegean Village and whilst the the hotel itself was ok the surrounding area was somewhat different. The Hotel is set up on a hill that overlooks a beach and the brochure (First Choice) stated that it was 250m from the beach I would not want to sunbathe on it, as it... more

My partner and I stayed her for a week in September and loved it. I agree with most of the comments about this not being a 4* hotel, but what I will say is that compared with all the other hotels I have stayed in that have been a 4* they have been pretty much the same. I think the... more
