This Hotel has had many owners, it was the Louis Helios, then it was sold and it was called the Kada Garden and then it was sold again and it is now called the Asteras Beach, so if you are looking to stay here..check Astera Beach....

We got this hotel fairly cheap so wasnt expecting anything fantastic. We arrive to the hotel at 2am due to our flight being delayed and there was someone to greet us upon our arrival and he allowed us to get some drinks from the drinks despenser... although we could not take the glasses to the room which meant we had... Just had a weeks holiday here, weather fantastic! the resort is no way a 4 star 2/3 at best. The food...pasta, pasta, pasta! lots of frozen corn, sprouts, mixed veg! chicken wings! instant whip and Jelly with squirty cream! anything that is left will be turned into some kind of bake with more pasta in it! they are running the... Overall holiday was ok but don't go if you don't like ouzo, brandy, wine or beer all inc is meant to mean everything included. We complained and the reception manager thrust a copy of the contract with the holiday provider under our nose and said see its in the small print !!!!! Errr rude! I went to Karda Garden Village (now renamed Asteras Resort) mid June 2012 with my girlfriend. As we had a very limited budget we were over the moon when we got told we could get a deal with an all inclusive 4 star hotel. Unfortunately, it felt much more like a 3 star. We'll start with the positives: Hotel rooms:... More

Caution is advised! This hotel is now called the Asteras Resort Hotel after changing it's name several times in receny years, it sell's itself as a 4 star. The hotel building is nice enough and very clean, but a 4 star rating is doubtful at best. It has two pools, a kiddies pool and the main pool which is a... More

My Wife and I, together with my Sister and her Husband stayed at this hotel for two weeks 2006, All Inclusive, the Hotel was called the Louis Helios Beach. A typical Greek set up, main building and additional accomodation provided in blocks around the grounds. The provision of the additional accomodation has by far out stretched the hotels facilities, the... More

My friend and I booked into the hotel and on arrival at the airport we were told the hotel had overbooked and we were sent (2am in the morning) to a hotel on the other side of the island miles away from the nearest town. Our rep told us that the Karda Garden Village was known for it's overbooking. Therefore... More

My partner and I have just returned from the karda garden having spent a week from the 17th to the 24th. Having read the negative reviews after booking we were slightly concerned that the place would be dreadfull, however we found the whole experience to be just fine. On arrival in the early hours we were greeted by the night... More
