I had a lovely holidays in this hotel. Hotel is basic, but always clean and well kept. Nice swimming pool and amazing location just next to the beach. Food was lovely, especially dinners were always excellent (starter, main dish and desert/fruit). Breakfast buffet style, very simple. Overall great experience, I totally recommend to visit this hotel and Zakynthos in general!

Small family-run hotel in a quiet location near the beach. The beach is usually closed after 6 or 7 p.m. due to nesting turtles caretta caretta. Simple yet delicious breakfast, dinners are lovely. The pool is smaller, but if I recommend you to go to the beach which is marvelous. Kalamaki is a bit sleepy village, so if you love... More

Stayed here for 1 week mid September 2013. The title of my review says it all. It was fantastic. Rooms small & basic, but clean. Breakfast again was basic, but it did the job.The pool area was clean, spacious & with lovely views all around. A small private path lead from the pool directly to the beach in a couple of minutes.... We had a lovely relaxing 10 night stay at this hotel. Michael the host is very welcoming and friendly. The hotel rooms are very basic but kept clean and towels and bedding changed on a regular basis. The position of this hotel is excellent so close to the beach and only a short walk to the Kalamaki strip. The breakfast... More

We stayed here for a week in May along with friends who are regulars there. We were made really welcome by Michael, the owner, and all the staff were lovely and friendly as well. The hotel in a good quiet location near the beach and has a nice raised pool area. The rooms are basic greek style with nice balconies... More

Dear All, seriously I have battled with myself putting this review up as I am torn between keeping it to myself and sharing how good it is. Seriously is the best hotel in Kalamaki. It's 200 m from the beach, has a lovely swimming pool and a fabulous sunbathing area with comfy sunbed cushions amazing views from the rooms over... More

I stayed at John and Joy's for a week at the end of august after reading about it on Tripadvisor - the hotel and staff lived up to everyone's great comments and I'm considering going back for 4 weeks next summer! It is a 10 minute walk to Kalamaki new Main road, and if you go the back way (right... More

I have stayed here many times and the English people you meet are also return stayers. The owner Michael makes the holiday, exceptionally friendly and helpful. Tyhe staff are always smiling and friendky. The hotel has a raised deep pool and an excelent pool bar. The beach is 50m away. It is a short walk into the resort of Kalamaki.... More
